Earning is not the hard part. It's keeping it that's challenging.

I beg to disagree na grabe magtipid ang ibang nationality. Mas malakas pa nga silang gumastos sa sobrang taas ng standard of living. Pag vacation nila, sigurado travel agad yun kung saan-saan. Ito na lang mas simple sa office where I work, ang mga Pinoy packed lunch at free coffee lang sa pantry during breaks samantalang karamihan sa ibang nationality lunch out sa cozy resto at coffee sa mga coffee shops. Hindi rin sila nag-iinvest sa mga properties samantalang mga Pinoy abala sa pag-check ng mga condo for sale o house and lot. Bilib nga sila satin kasi inuuna daw talaga natin yung magkabahay.

If you're earning PHP100k, 3% salary increase, parang cinover lang inflation

believe it or not, here on the oil rig sometimes I do. sakop ko maintenance ng sewage treatment plant. we hate doing it but in truth it does not even bother us a bit looking at soup made of poop. wala naman na amoy pag treated na. we also pump it all out, clean thoroughly and spray disinfectant in the tank if in case we do need to go in. we also make sure our vaccines are up to date.

but my salary is not $16.7k/month ok. fraction lang nun
