pero meron caveat...ayusin dapat muna yun labor problems, mukhang walang solution pa. dahil nakialam nanaman ang SC. I think with the SC's decision PAL need to pay the retrench employees amounting to P3B...so paano na yan?

ya di naman bibilhin ni MVP ang PAL pag may problema pa sa labor

sakit sa ulo ang mabibili niya

pero pag naayos ni Lucio Tan ang labor problem, baket pa niya ibebenta?

TEMPO Interactive, Manila:National conglomerate Anthoni Salim has been reported to have purchased Philippine Airlines (PAL). The corporate action executed through the businessman’s company First Pacific—based in Hong Kong— is reportedly said to have taken up US$700 million.

As quoted by Forbes Magazine, Salim’s offer was conveyed through First Pacific CEO Manny Pangilinan. In addition to bidding for PAL and its subsidiary company Air Phils, First Pacific also reportedly plans to purchase Manila Airport scheduled to be offered to private companies by the Philippines government. However, there has yet to be any statement from First Pacific and Salim Group about the plan.
