If it were up to me, the moment those squatters started throwing rocks, I'd start using guns loaded with riot control ammunition. The moment somebody starts brandishing a blade to seriously injure any of the demolition personnel, it's time for live ammo.

Those who do violence should be equally prepared to receive violence in return.

As many people have already said, this country has become far too soft and coddling over these animals just because of votes and "human rights". These pigs cry humans rights violations but turn indignant and all "Mahirap kami! Dapat kami pagbigyan!" whenever they themselves violate the rights of others through their actions.

Then we get idiots in the government, like that judge who issued the TRO, and biased TV media who always seem to demonize any demolition efforts, sympathize with the squatters.

    Wow! Philippines!

    lack of will.

police wont shoot at the armed squatters.

a warning shot would do, but did they do that ? no.

    masyadong malaki ang qc.

    masyadong madaming squatters.

not all of them are willing to relocate.

rather, most of them are willing to fight for their so called " rights ".

Dapat talaga ang demolition job is pay a squatter who lives in the colony. Just one. Pay him P50,000 (cheap change for Ayala Land and the authorities to fix this mess) and set the place in fire... It should spread rather quickly...

    *tidus:

La kwents. Babalik pa rin ang mga langgam sa lungga nila kapag patay na yung apoy.

That is, unless nilagyan agad ng barricade. But then again, they'd be suspicious if that were the case.

Classes in PSHS have been suspended up until tomorrow because of this.

I can honestly say that I'm not sympathetic to the squatters' cause. First and foremost, they don't own the land. How dare them have the right to complain. They may have a point that the resettlement area in Montalban would cause greater costs transpo-wise, but what the hell, they don't have any other choice.

No way is a high-rise going to be built for them in QC. Ang kapal ng mukha nila. They build their shacks on land that's not theirs and then when it's time to claim it, they cry foul and act as if they own it?

I know of a couple batchmates who've been mugged by these squatters. Thankfully though I've walked through Agham road for 4 years it hasn't happened to me, but I do attest to the dangerous environment caused by these informal settlers.
