Most of the early novels by Tom Clancy revolve around the character of Jack Ryan. Read the books below in such order to understand the myth behind Jack Ryan.

    Patriot Games
    The Hunt for Red October
    Cardinal of the Kremlin
    Clear and Present Danger
    The Sum of All Fears
    Debt of Honor
    Executive Decision
    The Bear and the Dragon

Sorry, a geek here and I have read them long before but I still remember the stories behind the novels.

Yep, that’s it. I have read all of them and the events within the stories align in such order. The movies do not match exactly the novels. In Patriot Games, that was the story as to how Jack Ryan got dragged into the CIA.

However, Tom Clancy wrote first The Hunt for Red October.

If you love Hunt for Red October, you should read Red Storm Rising. It is a novel based out of Tom Clancy’s research on a modern day (circa 80s-90s) conventional warfare between NATO and USSR.

Read them all too. [emoji846] Pero iyong later works ni Clancy na puro collaborations Hindi ko na binasa. I think he wasn't in the pink of health na when he "wrote" those...not sure if it matters though

Aside from those books, there are only a few more novels that I took time to read.

Red Storm Rising - my all time favorite
Without Remorse - story of John Clark
Rainbow Six - coincides with the storyline of Executive Decision and, The Bear and the Dragon

The rest of the new ones focus on the story of The Campus and Jack Ryan Jr.

    White noise

Adam driver stars in a quirky black comedy set in the mid -80s ( if I'm not mistaken). Parang Halo Siya Ng m. Night shyamalan directed "the happening" at stranger things (although I have yet to watch the said series).

    The snowman - 6/10

A Michael fassbender noir starrer from Sweden w/c falls a bit flat. The supposed crime thriller just wasn't thrilling enough.

It's just Too bad because I really usually like these brooding and depressing style of Nordic storytelling. The no frills type progression of their storyline is just refreshing to me.

the great jack nicholson in a bad movie directed by sean penn. bad storytelling in what could've been a riveting plot line.

Recently watched it too, sayang nga yung story. It could have been done in a better way. A nicer ending would have helped.

Robin Wright was also lacklusterly used.

Coherence - A nice low budget movie about strange occurrences when a comet passed by. Friends having dinner in a house go outside when there was a blackout. They get surprised when they see that the other houses similar to where they were, & the ones inside are also them.

Tetris - The amazing true story of difficult & complicated it was to licensee the game from then USSR.
