for public service daw kuno.. but if you look at their air time content.... ilang % of total airtime is allocated for public service? siguro pag may mga developments dumadalas.. pag may bagyo ... pag impeachment pre empted buong maghapon ang shows... pero if you look at that versus total time (in history of their franchise <?>).. ilang percent lang yun? mas marami pa siguro ang advertising, entertainment (take note - jologs) compared sa educational...

tayo ng foundation to be able to help.. hindi masama.. may bandwagon effect.. but let's see them use their own profits and donate mismo sa mga charities... sabagay.. mas mura magbigay sa foundation compared magbigay direct sa charities (walang kagana kaganang Donor's Tax)..

Many still believe in the local media. Most of the time, this is their only source of the outside world...

Filipinos remain among the top consumers of TV in the world. The Philippines ranks No. 5 in the world in Home TV Usage -- behind only Hong Kong, Brazil, China and India.

Ah, but here’s the fascinating bit of data. The Philippines ranks No. 12 in the world in average daily time spent watching television. Even more fascinating, Filipinos rank No. 1 among Asian countries for this stat. Filipinos average 3 hours and 30 minutes per day in front of their TV screens.

Lots of opportunities exist for online video consumption. Tablets, smartphones, notebooks, Internet cafes. And home consumption are but just some of the outlets. Anytime, anywhere is the mantra of the hyperconnected world.

Filipinos agree. Filipinos rank 8th in the world, in terms of video consumption at work. BUT, even more exciting is that we rank 1st in the world in mobile video consumption.

    that's more likely.
more on those novelas than the news.

most of them would switch off their tv sets, during the news & come back right after the news & continue watching
    their soaps & novelas.

Watching these media outfit is a waste of time.

Watch media, see other sources of info, then critically, use that squishy gray thing inside one's head.

Too bad lots of people in this country only do the first thing.

They can't sort out what's relevant & what's not.

And yung news kahapon, inuulit 'til now! Meh.

They can't even differentiate what's an AUV from an SUV or an MPV.

They should join Tsikot sometime. Lol!

    ano ba SUV?
Sport-utility vehicle - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Sport utility vehicle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pasok kaya innova sa term na SUV? light truck chassis daw na wagon type body so pasok sya? yun sa wiki naman dapat parang 4wd dapat so di pasok dyan montero and fort na 4x2. pero not all 4x4s daw can be termed an SUV. Malabo term yan SUV/AUV hehe. Pero sakin personally kahit light truck based or car based dapat may 4wd yan para considered as SUV parang pwede pang on road light offroad vehicle.
