Some local media outlets are too politicized. They manipulate information for the benefit of their owner's interest and their allies, not the public's.

    kala mo laging may gulo.

alam ko ginagawa nila yan, to get the listeners' attention.
    pero minsan OA na.

Minsan nakakamiss din yung mga straight news dati like RPN-9's Newswatch with Freddie Abando and Harry Gasser. Dito rin yata nanggaling dati si Sen. Loren Legarda. Then there's The World Tonight with Angelo Castro and News at Seven with Tina Monzon Palma.

    .... si arnold clavio lang...

i also dont like the news format of SONA ni Jessica Soho. Parang scripted na may question-answer (oral recitation sa klase).. kaya most of the time, hindi ako naniniwala sa pagbabalita nila..

OA nominees... Karen Davila, Mel Tiangco, Mike Enriquez, Arnold Clavio.

Means of torture...

I take anything from ABS-CBN with a whole sackful of salt. Their news programs are skewed politically and designed to brainwash unthinking people to their point of view. Same goes with Inquirer, albeit to a lesser extent. Remember that these two are the media division of the Yellow Army.

The reasons above, coupled with the way media (vans) behave in the streets... counterflowing, parking on a no-parking zone, generally being a road hazard expecting people to regard them as if an ambulance or fire truck?

I take whatever that comes out of their trap with a kilo of salt. As if dealing with a salesman that you know is trying to rip you off.

Ang ayaw ko dyan is yung "OA" at yung punto na "bad news is the better news".
