To Owners of CX-5 AWD Sport,
When you get your Certificate of Registration, please check the piston displacement entry. It should be 2488. Mine was just 1997 so I complained to my SA. She said that it was a typo error and will have it corrected with the LTO. The people who process the C.R. might have been so accustomed to the 2.0L variant that they forgot that the AWD has a 2.5L engine. This is the second time that this happened to me. So for those who are still waiting for your C.R.s to be released, I suggest you tell your SA to make sure that the piston displacement figure is correct to avoid the hassle of changing it pa.
ok mga ser's ordered na 5sets of MudGuards and 2sets of Sports Pedals, be patient lang please...
sea shipment kasi mode kinukuha ko para reasonable ang cost...
It's been a while to update but anyway, FC is at an average of around 9km/l. To sum up, around 400-440 km traveled and around 44-46 liters when refilling. now at around 4600km. Average refuelling around 2 full tanks per month. daily route usage around 30km. Purely city driving so far (traffic is always imminent). Hope this helps.
Sa mga AWD owners, ano deal nakuha niyo?
Ito kasi nakuha namin na quote
50k discount
Free 3 yr lto
3m tint with full wind shield tint
Yun battery, kakainis, 2nd SA na nakusap namin, di parin masagot kung ordinary lang o hindi. Pero confirm nga 1 yr lang warranty ng battery

Hi Sir C-Cube,
Meron DRL and CX-5 AWD Sport. The shifter should be in drive position and the handbrake should be disengaged for it to turn on. I'm not sure though if there is also a light at the back of the car.
Regarding your complaint about their lack of knowledge on what type of battery it uses, I think they still don't know or are not trained pa with the new features of the CX-5 AWD version. In fact, I ordered a spare keyless remote unit (I want to have a extra spare just in case I loose one) and it's more than a month na and they still cannot give me a price or when I can get it.
I also asked them how to check if the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) is working cause I could not see any change in the angle of the headlights during turns when driving at night. The service advisor tells me to just observed it when I'm driving but that's what I'm telling him that I don't see the the headlights turning when I'm turning the steering wheel with the headlights on. And he tells me that they can't test it. Has any of you CX5 AWD owners seen the AFS and auto-leveling feature of your cars in action or verified that its working?
I like the CX-5 AWD because it has lots of features that other SUV don't have but I'm afraid that if one of these special features breaks down, the local mechanics won't know how to fix it. Kung spare keyless remote lang di nila mabigay in 1 month pano pa kaya pag spare parts na specific to the CX5 AWD and kailangan palitan. I don't know if this is the case also with other car brands but I expected better from a Japanese car company like Mazda.![]()
*wilson and *cyferion Thanks for the inputs..
im also having second thoughts re the after sales support for this brand. 2 SAs can't answer my most important concern![]()
May mga SA na limited talaga knowledge lalo na pag bagong labas na model. Mas magandang kausapin nyo sir yung head mechanic nila. I recommend mazda pasig or quezon ave.
