Did your units have aircon filters installed when released? It's usually a separate purchase with some brands.

Can anyone recommend a good and trustworthy SA at Mazda Greenhills? I would like to schedule a test drive for the CX-5.
Thanks!
Got my plates kanina, nagulat ako nung tinawagan ako it took only 6 weeks for it to be released.
The CX5 comes with factory-tinted rear windows and back glass right? What shade did you use for the front windows? Mazda agents at Glorietta said 3M medium is a good match. We're looking at V-Kool OEM.
hi guys! anyone here who has their backup sensor installed already? can you share pic how it looks like? just got a confirmation from my SA that sensors only come in black. i just wonder who this looks like on a white body... makes me very anxious

Regular plates lang... No accessories bought yet asides from some LED lighting, and the weathertech liners. Pinag iisipan ko mabuti eh, I want 20" inch rims kasi, HIDs and of course better horns. So yung mga ibang accessories medyo shelved muna yung plans. Ipon mode muna. Unless may mag group buy here, sasabay na ako hehehe.

Thanks!
People are raving about GaryQ's HID conversions. No problems with parts because he modifies the stock headlights to accommodate the projectors. If you plan to go that route pasabay mo na rin horns (he doesn't stock them though so bring your own) and LEDS (he has lots of those).
Yeah, already reached out to him about a possible retrofit upgrade... medyo madugo lang. Still considering maybe a VTX hid plug and play upgrade, sobra laki ba difference? Been reading up on it on the lighting threads but cant really quantify the difference. Any help or tips will be appreciated.
Drove the CX5 today through the winding and sometimes chaotic two-lane hiways of northern Mindanao. That's one sweet stick shift Mazda put in. The throws are short and precise. The steering is light. The engine is rev happy. After a few minutes of driving it felt like I was in a normal sedan instead of a tall and spacious SUV. The dual zone aircon was a welcome feature because I usually keep my temp at 22C but mom likes it at 19.
Dad chose VKool OEM for the front windows and visor. It closely matches the stock tint on the rear windows. We also confirmed that there is an aircon filter already installed.
The dealer said that since Yojin3 means free servicing they will be strict with the schedule. 1k checkup will be at 1k kms or 1 month whichever comes first. A meter over 1k kms or a day over 1 month and there might be consequences. Not a problem for my dad though even if our house is 300 kms away from the dealer. He's looking for any reason to take it out on the open road.
The benefit of a retrofitted headlight far outweigh what you can get from a P&P HIDs. With retrofit, especially if it's the specialization of the shop doing it, you have peace of mind that your car will not catch fire due to short circuits. Also, safety wise, you're doing yourself and other motorist a favor as you are not blinding mga kasalubong mo. Iba ang buga ng retrofit HID against P&P HID. Parang sales person dating ah! Kidding aside, it's worth the money especially if you plan in keeping the car for longer time.
