good pm po uli, balak ko po palitan na rin mga belts ko sa alternator at aircon compressor since i don't know the history when it was last installed and that the previous owner failed to feed me the complete info. timing belt lang pala napalitan ko so far. next time po post ko dito some pictures of my ride. again i'll ask the assistance of my daughter to do it, hehe. have you guys finished casting your votes now? me and my wife got it early as possible. for everyone po pala here's my number, *******8114.

tama yan ginawa mo sir! tapos record mo dates and mileage kung kelan mo napalitan. this way, alam mo ang next due date ng replacement. kasama din dito ang regular maintenance mo i.e. oil change & tune up, tire rotation, greasing, wheel and camber alignment, battery replacement pati na rin underchassis, engine, exterior and interior detailing. hehe. i keep a record of everything!

to everyone: ask ko lang po if the orig color/design of the grill of B2500 is just one color only? meaning di naka-chrome ang paikot.
mi nbili po kc ako na surplus kulay flat dark brown something at yon daw ang orig color. yong extg ko daw po na naka-chrome paikot e, taiwan made na daw. i haven't installed it yet and planning to look also for the frames of the headlights with the same color to match with this grill. medyo may mga gasgas at crack na rin kasi itong extg na nakakabit. left side front signal light ay basag na rin at nakabili na rin ako ng surplus. sabay-sabay ko na ito ikakabit pag complete na, soon!

Guys, the EB date is a Sunday. Per my experience sa mga eb natin sa mcdo macapagal, mahirap mag park at madaming exercisers. Hindi tuloy magkakatai ang parada natin minsan. In short, magulo yung lugar pag linggo ng umaga. Why not hold it sa Petron sa tapat para maluwag sa atin? May Treats din ata yun. Just my two centavos.

Call Fordmaster or Fordland in Banawe for the latest prices sa KHT Kitahara glow plugs - specify PZ-30 or PZ-35.

As to the injectors, - what do you mean... the nozzles?

If its the nozzles, expect to spend around Php 6000 (or more) for a set of 4.

Note - with fuel injection parts you must be VERY SPECIFIC with the type and part number - its easy to make a mistake.

I usually just buy them from the the service shop (DRT ni Gener).

mga sirs....as we welcomed the newest member last sunday night. the other member of our family started saying good bye...ang pickup.share ko sana sa inyo kasi di nila maintindihan kalungkutan ko. yesterday morning, umuwi ako sa bahay sa parents ko para i-flush radiator ko at para icheck mga fluids.i do it every week. iniwan ko ang pick up dun for half a day para lumamig.nun bumalik ako started going through my routine.top op here punas dun.filled up the radiator with water(sm bonus).then out of curiosity inistart ko makina.then again out of curiousity inangat ko ung dipstick.at first wala. then i noticed smoke and oil.yup,,,bye bye time na....i guess two years of TLC doesnt make up for 16 years of abuse and neglect.sobrang naawa ko sa pickup.depressed.so instead of taking her to the carwash...ako na lang.alam ko madrama na tong post ko.sorry kung nakakabore.lessons learned po....pero no giving up here. so instead na paint job this summer.makina.....sana lang umabot pa siya summer.di pa naman po siya nangsusunog ng langis.(pray....)

so my questions would be:

1. upgrading to a rf turbo(hopefully intercooler) the way to go?
2. or to a bigger wl-t?

top consideration ko po price and expenses involving the install. hindi ko po alam magkano sila ngayon eh.baka po alam nyo going price ngayon laking tulong po yun sa pagbudget namin ni misis. i'll start going around shops in cavite hopefully next week.busy pa po sa house.nagaadjust pa sa baby boy namin.hehe

I asked the price of a WLT-31 in January and its about Php 36k or so, I believe that matatawaran mo pa yan.

I heard sina bors (ata) saying that a R2 or RF turbo is around 25k.

Everyone says mas malakas yung WLT-31, but its only available in automatic transmission, and it's a lot bigger and heavier than the R2 or RF engines.

As to the size issue, the bigger WLT-31 is definitely going to be harder to install, and you might have to buy or adopt a manual transmission (not recommended).

The choice is really yours.

But in my opinion, because the R2 and RF outnumber the WLT-31's by a factor of at least 10 to 1, you are much more likely to find a good (sariwa pa) one.

well, my suggestion would be: have it checked with a mechanic and see if he can perform a 'dukut' i.e. replacing piston rings. this is the cause of that white smoke and oil coming out of the dipstick. baka naman kaya yan lang ang palitan. mura lang kung ganito ang gagawin.

for engine swap, ok ang RF turbo or WL31 turbo. both sir bborces and dc1 have turboed engines. power addict sila. hehe. kindly PM them to get details... or mga sirs, sumagot kyo dito hehe.

the WL31 turbo is the engine of the local ranger. be it manual or automatic, malakas pa din yan. we had a ranger before, kayang kaya ang 160kph with a full load. price? no idea yet..

last rebore na raw yun sabi ng pinsan ko.sila kasi nagoverhaul nun dati.

mga sirs na nagconvert na,pwede po pa share naman.
madami po kasi rf dito puro matic ang nakakabit.pano nyo po kinonvert yung transmission? saka po yung mounts?
