yun lang talaga ang pumapatay satin sa project.."budget".. uhm kay garyq yun fxr na HID retrofit aabutin ng 24k..19.5k for the retrofit and 4.5k for the headlamps.

sa NorthCustoms mas mura kasi may mga budget meal sila dun na taiwan made na HIDs.

siguro yun gusto mo talaga aabuting ng 30K super branded and worth it naman yun gusto mo. Hoping magkaron nga tayo soon.

An old classmate of mine from high school (at talagang 'old' ang itsura niya, dami na puting buhok!), talked to me about the virtues of conservation.

Anyway, I promised to do my bit to help the planet.

In line with that sentiment, I am asking for my dear customers' (yes! you guys) help.

Mga brod, please (if you can) bring your empty additive bottles (basyo) along to this EB and I will re-use them so they don't become part of the waste that's polluting our one-and-only planet.

Now if you disposed of the empties that's OK. What's past is past.

But if they're just cluttering up your garage or making your wife look nasty at you for not keeping HER HOUSE a clean place, here's your chance to make pa-pogi.

Wow, it's great to know that we have B-series enthusiasts here. I have been searching for you guys for the longest time. Andito lang pala kayo. I'm new here. I have a B2500, which I got from my brother in law and I love it to pieces. Great to know marami pala tayo. And now, I have a place I can go to if I need help. Bobo ako sa makina eh.

Samantalahin ko na ang pagakakataon and let me please ask some ideas from you.

1. Glow plugs - I have had to replace my glow plugs for a number of times because they go out every now and then. I thought it was an electrical problem, had it checked and it was not, a mechaic told me that it was probably because of a leaky cylider head gasket or whatever, had it replaced, then gaun pa rin. Nasusunog pa rin glow plugs ko. Any ideas why?

2. When I replaced my glow plugs, I do it myself kasi no-brainer naman magpalit nun eh, masikip yung isa ung tatagalin ko. Nakapagpalit na ako more than 7 times in the last 2 years so I basically know what I'm doing. Because it didn't come off that easily, I applied more force to twist it and the thing broke in half and I couldn't remove teh other half stuck in my engine. May nakalabas na about 2-3mm dun sa kalahati ng glow plug ad di ko sya matanggal. No leaks naman so I just kept it stuck there in the meantime till I or someone figure out a way to remove it. Hehehe. So, patay yung isa kong glow plug. Is that bad for my engine? Any idea kug paao ko matatanggal yung kalahati nung glow plug ko? Stupid question, I know.

3. Can any of you guys point me in the right direction kung saan ako pwede bumili ng front bumper ng b2500?

4. How much kaya ag magagastos ko if I'll have my engine calibrated?

(Wow! I'm writing a Dear John letter).

Welcome to our humble thread.

Great to have more Mazda pickup owners on board.

We covered most of your questions in much earlier posts, look at this one from page 2 and 3,

Please review our old posts and discussions and I think most of your questions will be answered.

As to your broken glow-plug issue, Dieseldude (aka Jake Arellano "the man from Central Diesel Clinic" and author of the Diesel Injection Help desk thread) has the solution:

Have someone drill a hole in a strong flat bar of steel (about 1 and 1/2 inch wide by 1/4 th inch thick) and weld it to the remaining stub of the glowplug.

Blow the area clean with compressed air and wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Heat the area with a propane (NOT an acetylene) torch a little.

When things have cooled down, spray a good quality penetrating oil (or WD-40) on to the stub.

Then gently try to turn the bar and get the plug loose.

This procedure will save you from having to remove the cylinder head.

Also, this happens when you do NOT clean the threads of your glow plugs thoroughly enough.

You have to take the trouble of brushing them sparkling clean with a wire brush - its hard and tedious work but as you can see, well worth it.

As for myself, I have been using KHT Kitahara PZ-30 glowplugs for almost 9 years now and have no problems with them so far, knock on wood.

by the way, nabanggit mo pala sakin na gusto mong magpacleaning ng a/c mo. may suki ako sa may broadway centrum, actually sa n. domingo st. txt ko sayo yun number. jojo mandia a/c shop. pwede pa kita samahan basta weekend.

Thanks... try ko i-check 'yung a/c shop .. btw.. di ko masagad ang torsion bar to lift the front... bouncy na masyado..kaya di sya nakasagad..

yung rear.. sagad na rin yung hanger .. axle over leaf spring kasi ang 4x2 ko...

*duskilim - Thank you. I am halfway through reading the posts. I am just using cheap glow plugs till I find out what's wrong with my engine. I guess it also boils down to the quality of the glow plugs. What can yuo expect from P100 plugs anyway, right? I'll try those Kitahara ones.

I am one of those, if it ain't broken, don't fix it guys. Maybe I need to do a little researching here and there about how to fix minor problems.
