for the exhaust, a larger diameter exhaust pipe from the manifold to the exhaust tip would not necessarily give more power. in fact, it can lose power! exhaust manifold and tubing/piping sizes should and will be determined and based on the engine size. get more information from your favorite exhaust shop. try nodalo's, mufflerland, or SMT.
in my opinion, it's best to make an engine swap. bborces just had his red/maroon B2200 R2 engine swapped with an RF turbo (japan). he said (at our first eb) that there was no problem in hitting 140kph. he's also planning to add an intercooler! a WL-T from a ford ranger would also do the trick!
duskylim's B2500 has alcohol injection. some (at the first eb) test drove his truck and said that the pulling power is better than their b-series! he also gave samples of his fuel additive -- i guess this alone improves the combustion. imagine if you have a turbo with alcohol injection. adrenalin!!
