Problem is, highway robbery ang R2 na engine that I canvassed, they want 38k for it. I also have to take into account the labor for getting it fitted. So I was thinking if I can grab a hold of a 30k R2 engine, then a couple of thousand pesos for the labor and the LTO papers, Im looking at a 40K total, give or take. That leads me back to the 40k estimate for the overhaul (and some new parts). I swear, this is a major headache, specially with the tight finances. Anyhow, is a WLT engine ok? Will it fit without any mods? My truck is a 92 B2200 4x2. Im thinking of getting an R2 since this is pretty much what I can only afford (But I still have to set aside some cash over the months).
Also, I will be keeping in mind the advice on getting a 1 week warranty, thanks so much for the input. Oh, by the way, is the LTO process of having the engine changed straightforward? or pahirapan rin ba ngayon?
Thanks for taking the time Sir. TIA
