    The first batch of CX-7 owners last Nov to Dec. 2009 are about 150 to 170. Then there were only handful of deliveries in early 2010 until March. In April, the second batch of CX7 arrived here(hundreds of them). Now I think CX-7 owners ranges already from 200 to 300 at present. No more waiting lists.

    BTW, I wish Mazda Philippines should consider introducing a stripped down version of the CX-7 without the luxury features priced maybe at 1.3M or lower. This would be very competitive versus the 2010 Honda CRV, 2010 X-Trail and soon to be launched and promising 2010 Kia Sportage IMHO.

    hi lamborghinione! thanks for the info. anyway, CX7 i supposed is made for that- with luxury features. if mazda will downgrade CX7's features definitely will be a less pogi point/s on the unit. personally, i opted to choose CX7 above any other SUV's coz of these. "CX7 is not an everybody's car", i dont know if you will agree? hehehe! good day guys!

    The CX-7 here IMO is already the basic version..

    no seat memory (mine doesnt have it although the phil brochure indicates it does, meron ba sa inyo?)
    no auto sensor for windshield wipers
    no auto sensor for headlamps
    17 inch rims (other countries have 18in stocks)
    non-HID headlamps

    Despite all this, Im still very much impressed I chose this car over other units I considered.

    if i am not mistaken, the features above are for the top of the line turbo diesel model.

    i think, though i am not sure, that all 2.5L MZR 7s have the same features worldwide

    I agree with you, I think many CX7 owners prefers to have the exclusivity factor here in the Phils. But business wise, my idea will help Mazda Phils. to increase its market share and improve its brand image locally.

    Have a nice day driving your CX7!!!

    @sir Parakito,

    Kala ko approve na yung JPEPA. Hindi pa pala. It would be better also if CX7 would be assembled regionally in Thailand or in Ford's laguna plant.

    Hi all,

    I am new here and been reading all the threads been posted on CX7, should thanks everyone of you else i would not decided to get this ride. I had made a reservation for 2.4L CRV and was ready to deliver, but after seeing the reviews and went for a test drive...change my mind.

    Anyway i got a red CX7 from Alabang 4 days after i test drive, all the info i had gather from here is very much correct. The only down side for this car there is no reverse sensor, any good soul can advise me where can i install this? Tried a few shops in Alabang but they said the rear bumper too thick for drill penetration.

    Overall it is a great ride and no regards getting this ride.
