2nd-hand Mazda 3 advice

Hi Mazda Owners. Do you know any reputable repair shop where I can have my 2nd-hand 2013 Mazda serviced? I brought my car to Mazda Greenhills this morning to have it checked. Ang diagnosis e kailangan na raw palitan ng power steering hose, air filter, spark plug, at transmission flushing dialysis. Labor and materials will cost around P35,000! Ang sakit sa loob. Haha

Tapos, nagpaquote na rin ako ng new bumper dahil nabangga ako at crumpled na iyung left bumper ko. 60,000 naman ang bigay. Di ko alam kung magkano ang participation fee ko.

bring it to banawe. you'll probably spend less than 10K.
original japan PS hoses are expensive (8k!), but they last long, daw, according to the mechanic who did mine.
local PS hoses are cheaper, (1-2K), but tend to "last considerably less", again, daw.
those with actual experience, pls share.

Sirs good morning. Ask ko lang kung me kilala kayo electrician na magaling at maayus kausap. Yung Mazda3 2004 ko nag stop umandar ang engine. Sabi yung coil me problem at computer box na ata apektuhan na. Baka me alam din kayo na surplus na ecu/comp box for Mazda3 2004 A/T 1.6 engine, in case di ma remedyuhan. Salamat!!

I get 5-6 km/L with my 2.0 Mazda 3 for city driving. 11-12 km/L for highway driving.

Expect worse for the Mazda 6, maybe 4-5 km/L. Parts availability is also really bad, my friend junked his Mazda 6 after it got flooded because they couldn't find replacement parts for it.

But other than that, the Mazda 6 is a pretty solid car.

Nasa normal range lang ba ng consumption pag nakaka 7.7-8.0km/L na mixed sa 2.0 Mazda 3? Daily fuel ko kasi ngayon sa 2.0R ko is 300-350 from Marikina(near antipolo) to SM MOA and back.mga 9-10am ako umaalis papuntang work then mga 8-9pm ako umuuwi. mga 30-50% ng trip ko nagpapatay ako ng aircon. And pag may mga opening (edsa,whiteplains,marcos hway) hinahataw ko talaga.

Nagiisip pa kasi ako kung matipid na ba yun since nagbabalak ako magpalit ng unit kung talagang di na siya fuel efficient.

Hi, i own an 06 mazda 3 before, just this june binenta ko na recently kc i have been changing parts one after the other, mataas na rin kc mileage. Whenever i needed parts i go to Golden Isuzu Shop, it's just near metropoint pasay. Look for Mike. Ok parts that he's selling helpful pa sya, an owner of m3 himself kaya he knows what u need.
He sells mazda parts, last time i went there mga april may tail lights sya.

Kung gusto mo naman ng speed talaga, Mazda 3 2.0R is my bet. Actually, this is the only variant I like sa lineup ng 3. :thumbup:

hello po pa advice nman po.. im planning to buy mazda 3 2010 model.. 2.0L po... price po is 300k magkano pa po mgagastos ko sa maintenance pra mabyahe pauwi leyte yung car.. in running condition pa nman daw yung car .. how often po maintenance ng mazda car? first time to buy po ksi .. wla po ko alam sa sasakyan .. nag ipon po tlaga ko pra mabili ko dream car ko and that is mazda 3 .. pa advice po mga kuya/ate thank you

For peace of mind bago mo byahe pa change oil sa Shell or Petron stations na malapit sayo. Fully synthetic mo para me libre na 18 point check up.

Be sure to test drive the car. You will feel shift shock or delayed response if it's a transmission that's about to give up. Best to have your mechanic check it as well. Ask when the ATF was last replaced, but replace it anyway.
You will have to find a head unit panel to be able to put aftermarket head units. Usually the steering wheel audio controls will not work if you do this. Best to just have the stereo repaired if it breaks down. The speakers aren't Bose.



Yes, if it's a well-maintained unit. Inspect the car and list down all the flaws you find, then try to haggle down to about 260-280k.

Yes it's possible as long as may shifting action. Minsan may sliding clutch feeling ang automatic. Minsan palit ng torque converter kuha na.

For the Mazda 3, the usual shift shock is felt very strongly when downshifting from 4th to 2nd gear under hard acceleration. So if you can get yourself to 40 kph in 4th gear, then suddenly floor the pedal so it downshifts to 2nd gear, you'll be able to check if there's excessive shift shock.

I bought my Mazda 3 from a seller in Merville. Brought the car out to SLEX and drove it up to 140 kph just to check any issues. Immediately noticed the rough shifting so I told the seller that I'd only buy it if he'll shoulder the cost to replace the transmission, which he did.
