August 30th, 2014 04:19 PM #61Just had my APV's 4 Dunlop tires retired, after 4 years of service.
I replaced them with Toyo H08 at the TyreMart shop here in Taytay. I was originally set to use Dunlop SPLT5 tires on them, until I checked the date, which was 2012. I went for the more slightly expensive Toyo dated 2014, at around 4480 each. Dunlop's was roughly a hundred pesos cheaper.
I fell for Tyremart because of the 12-month installment offer (at 0%) for certain credit cards (I used BPI). If this wasn't available, I would have chosen either Goodyear or Bridgestone at other shops.
After having the tires replaced, I suddenly felt the lightness on the steering wheel, as if I had no wheels Parang ang sarap magdrive. Or maybe the tires are new....
Since I've replaced 4 tires, I have free service with them such as tire rotation, balancing, and Ni recharging.

November 15th, 2014 09:33 PM #62Just had another replacement run on my 2nd ride, Ford Escape. I went to Tire King in Marcos Highway, retiring all GY Wranglers with Bridgestone Ecopias. 5400 per tire.

Medyo off-topic pero just wondering why authorized Bridgestone dealers' (based on their website) selling prices are higher than our suking tire suppliers.. I'll be replacing my Duelers soon so nagcanvass ako mahal ng 500pesos to 1k ang authorized dealers.

November 22nd, 2014 01:51 PM #64Hi! I need new tires for my 2013 Ford Everest at 50k++ kms already. I have canvassed tires which would fit my budget and boiled down to Cooper at P9500* or Yokohama at P11500*. Anybody have experience with Cooper tires? Malaki din savings compared to Yokohama sana.

November 23rd, 2014 11:39 AM #66Thanks for the reply. The Everest tire size is 60xR18x255 which is more expensive than the tires of the Fort. Here are the prices I have canvassed: Toyo P13500, Dunlop P12500, Yokohama P11500, Cooper P9500. I'm leaning more on the last two because of cost but if there would be some positive feedbacks about Cooper, I'd go for it. For Yokohama, I have good experience with them with my Tucson pero sayang din ang P8k difference.

Ganun naman talaga kahit saan. Kapag mura nila binenta pano na yung ibang retailers na mas marami kumuha? Though minsan yung website price nila nababawasan pa kung cash.
BTT: Okay naman ako sa GT Champiro GTX 205/65/15, Kung may 265/50/20 sila bakit hindi? Maxxis Marauder II MS2.Last edited by XTO; November 23rd, 2014 at 03:53 PM.
