assuming that the current top of the line picanto in Korea is

10,300,000.00 KRW = 393,646.36 PHP

local price 595,000
that's roughly around + 53% increase

and the top of the line soul in Korea is

20,800,000.00 KRW = 792,969.01 PHP

plus 53% = 1,213,242.58 or around 1,215,000.

so expect it be around that price. But the sad part is it will not be the top of the line. Korean site shows that you have a lot of choices or custom choices to choose from.

1.3 M range. Forget it. Siguro the best thing to do is file for a petition to lower taxes of CBU at congress. We Filipinos pay big taxes for everything pero hindi tayo nakikinabang.

with the way they prized the carens (now at 1.1-1.25M), 1.3M is not surprising for the soul. And 'stupid' is not the term to use for CAC, "greedy" is more fitting.

I don't think that will happen soon. In fact CAC was given an award last year by KIA for probably one of the best performing distributor in Asia ( can't remember the exact award). Kaya ngang lalong yumayabang sila

I just saw last night at around midnight, 3 kia soul at the bicutan exit on their way to the service road probably for delivery to a dealer nearby. So mukhang may bagong lalabas from Kia.

yun nga. until now, cac hasn't released an official price list of the new soul. sana man lang ay within the altis price range siya para di naman siya masyado mahal. :sad:
