    di ba kayo natatagtagan sa sorento LX mga sirs? 31psi tire pressure ko pero ang problema kasi yung laro ng shocks side by side e. wallowy ang ride, nahihilo wife ko. muntik masuka.

    also, rinig na rinig ang ingay ng makina sa loob e. pano ba babawasan ang NVH?

    this is my first diesel car at medyo nagsisisi ako.

    Malakas talaga engine noise ng sorento sa loob ng cabin, sa labas di naman gaano compared to other diesels. Tahimik siya in fact if you compare it to others sa labas, pero maingay pag nasa loob ka. Compare ko to my other 2 diesel rides mas maingay talaga ang sorento.

    Meron mga nagi-install ng sound deadening insulation if you really can't stand the noise. Search mo lang sa olx, madami dun.

    Kapag sinabi mo na matagtag, ibig sabihin hindi masyado naglalaro yung shocks, i.e. kapag nalubak, tigil agad ang play (try riding on a lowered car, with gas shocks, yun ang matagtag). Ang wallowy naman is the exact oppostite, sige ang galaw niya, especially during cornering (yung pakiramdam mo tataob siya). If you read my review a few pages ago, I characterize the ride of the Sorento as very car like, virtually no roll (even on corners hindi siya nag-roll or yung parang tataob), and yes matagtag siya (coming from a lowered Lancer and a Hilander the feeling is not really foreign to me). In fact I want to make it even firmer.

    Diesel engines talaga medyo maingay, pero the R-engine and the Sorento in particular already has one of the quietest engines around. I find it very quiet for a diesel engine (coming from a Hilander).

    Coming from a Hilander, all other diesel engines in the same class will sound more quiet.

    Maybe it's the way you or your wife drives? You better avoid riding a Montero Sport or Fortuner.

    Have and had other cars and I consider myself a smooth driver, she didn't have problems with them. And yes, the fortuner is worse, we've test drove one before. Bought the Sorento based on its positive reviews. Wasn't expecting this kinda ride and noise. Having buyer's remorse.

    Parang baliktad yata, halos wala ako marining sa loob pero pag binuksan na ang bintana dun ko naririning makikina, pero still quieter than most diesel engines.

    And yes, it's wallowy. As I've mentioned earlier, mahilig sya gumalaw patagilid, parang bangka. Di agad tumitigil. Yun yung nakakahilo.

    Yung tagtag naman, yung likod. Biglang bagsak sa humps pag di dahan-dahan, walang play ang shocks. Again, not a problem with other cars.

    ^You must have a lemon unit. As I said, I've taken the car "canyon carving" along the Talisay-Tagaytay road and its not wallowy at all, almost no body roll along corners, and very stable.
