I just had my 22.5k PMS sa Kia Global City last March 9. Yesterday, nagkaroon ng issue ang Picanto ko. It started emitting thick white smoke that smells like burning rubber. I towed it to KGC and asked for the copy of the job order for the car since it was brought by my partner's mom for the service. I found out that they used 15-40w Zic oil for diesel engines when I specifically asked for zic a+!!! I already reported this to CAC since I am not getting any proper assistance from the SM of KGC. At this point, I would like it to get a replacement since I'm trying to avoid the long term issues that might came up after the incident. Sobrang inconvenient ang nangyari.

Could've made some more savings if I didn't opt to change my fuel filter and engine air filter + get my all of my parts from Seiring where the AC filter is 700 and oil filter is 500. But I decided to be cautious and have both replaced kahit na sa 20K kilometers PMS pa dapat. In retrospect, the engine air filter looks it can be used another more or less 5T kms though. So normally, your 10K PMS damage should cost around 6-7K~ petot.

BTW, Kia PH has a 20% promo on PMS for the coming holidays. You should take advantage of it if you're less than 1K~ away from your regular PMS schedule

brought my own ZIC RV (Fully synthetic oil) frankly didn't notice any change...
as about 400km ago, I flushed out the oil using Petron's cheapest diesel oil at Php187/li...

with the ongoing POST HOLY WEEK PROMO, I paid a total of Php1514 after discount....

i'm happy they washed the car....but i'm not sure if they rotated my tires or not...???

meron na ba nakapag-PMS sa kia congressional? just want to know if there are any issues with that branch? kasi last time i wa saythere i heard they fired almost all the people in the service dept, don;t know the reason why as the guy i talked to did not want to say. i was there only to have the auto door locks set.

Last PMS ko sa kanila noon December 23 2012. Ako pa nagdala ng oil at parts. Pwede ko rin silipin yun kotse habang ginagawa. Parang Hyundai Las Pinas lang din treatment nila sa akin sir Yebo. Pero yun mga tao dun nung nagpa-PMS ako, sila parin yun tao nung first time na nagpunta ako dun.

tnx SG. sabagay sabi nung nakausap ko dun nuon yun daw mga tinanggal e may kalokohan na ginawa (sa customer yata) so wala naman na sila dun. matitino naman siguro yung mga naiwan, o natuto na ng leksyon. utusan ko si kumander ipa-PM yung sorento bukas.

Marami horror story diyan sa kia global city. May isang kia picanto nagpa PMS sa kia global, tapos after ng PMS napansin ng owner may white smoke na lumalabas sa tambucho..binalik niya sa kia global tapos ang findings pang diesel engine oil ang inilagay kasi naubusan daw sila ng gasoline engine oil.
