Kia Picanto taxi

Oh, baka naman may mag away nanaman dito sa thread na ito ha. No big deal naman itong nakita ko kanina. I saw a white Picanto taxi a while ago in Buendia towards Makati avenue.

Hmmm....Parang naliliitan ako for that but at least, matipid siya sa gas plus good looks heheheh.

sana gumanda na taxis dito sa atin. Sayang lang kasi madaming bulok na ae101 taxis na naka LPG and I think ayaw bitawan ng owners/operators nila yun.

although i doubt i'll fit there. trying to fit into a vios taxi was a claustrophobic experience for me. :lol:

Vios is not suitable for a taxi. Too small. Picanto should be all right for passenger space, but not much luggage space.

Alam mo naman, may mga sensitive dito na pwedeng ma-misinterpret ang post na ito as something negative towards Picanto.

actually, naisip ko dati bat yung mga taxi operators hindi bumili ng fleet ng picantos since you still see a lot of kia pride taxis around, alam mo namang it'll survive the manila streets. karamihan naman ng sakay ng taxi 1 to 3 persons lang kaya oks na ang picanto.

Pwede naman ang Picanto. But you have to put a roof load system on it. Masyado maliit ang trunk. Hindi kasya ang suitcase or a week's worth of groceries.

Pero parang ayokong maging taxi driver ng Picanto. Kapag yun ang dala ko feeling ko makikipaghalikan ako sa mga pasahero, hehehe. Maluwag naman ang cabin for it's size, nasanay lang siguro ako sa mas malaking cabin.

imho, it's a good choice, pero you'd miss out on some portions of the "market" -- e.g. tall people, barkadas who like to stuff themselves into a taxi, people who lug furniture/appliances

nakakita na ako ng picanto taxi last month sa may elliptical circle..

not a bad choice para gawing taxi since matipid nman sya.. prob lang eh yung space for luggage and for those people who will fit in..

kung ako may ari ng taxi, ayaw ko magsakay ng barkada, 5 to 6 persons = wasak ang suspension.

Hindi na nagkakalayo ang price ng Vios at Picanton????? Magkano na ba ang Picanto ngayon????? Naaalala ko kasi dati, sub-300K Php lang yang Picanto nung unang labas!

one other minus for the picanto: ground clearance.

kung isa o dalawa, heck maybe even 3, lang ung bibilhin mo, vios would be a better choice. then again if you're buying a fleet, the cumulative price diff would most likely buy you another picanto B)

maganda rin kasi i analyze kung ano ung most frequent passenger ng taxis natin -- i.e. pa isa-isa lang ba, me dala bang bagahe, etc. if 70-80% of the time ganyan, the extra space wouldn't really matter.

Medyo mababa nga ang ground clearance. Tapos low profile pa ang tires 65 series. Ang dami nang gasgas ng hubcaps from those EDSA potholes.

Hindi pa naman sumayad sa humps kahit puno.

I haven't seen any Picanto taxi yet. I think Oks naman na maging taxi yan. Huwag lang malalaki o matatangkad ang pasahero.

ako po twice na nakakita ng picanto na taxi...dati sa marcos highway and kanina sa commonwealth avenue. cute tingnan.

i think there are more altis taxis in cagayan de oro city than hir in manila.. jst a thought... i think thats the best taxis to have.. i just like the size...
