No problems so far. I think its isolated to the 2011 models. 2012 / 2013 ones should be fine.

What's the fuel consumption of our Optima owners here after break-in? Meron na bang naka 5K/10K sa Odo?

Most probably, same w/ Sonata and Camry 2.4L.

Don't own one but I suspect it to be around the 2.4L Sonata range. +/-6km/L city driving.

malapit na 5k Odo ko pero di pa ako nag pa-pms. So far I am getting 6-7 KM/L with moderate traffic. Average speed ko around 22 km/h.

Meron din K5 Hybrid sa direct importer... FC daw is 21 km/l... pero mas gusto ko yung design ng local Optima

I'll shudder at the local cost if so if you would be importing. Last time I remember, Webson of HANCARS has stated that the reason why they don't really import Kia was because Columbia's a jackass for price lowering. In other words, it makes it a lot harder for them to compete.

Go get the K5 ng AutoAccess.. 270+HP oh, 1.8m lang :naughty2:

I did not opt for the KDM due to warranty... at least sa PHDM eh 5 years... although mas madami features yung imported
yung 270 HP is nice to have... but saan naman pwede gamitin yun dito sa Pinas? Halos lahat ng lugar meron ng speed limit... yung SF ko nga di na rin maihataw ;)
