    For 100km, I need to top up around 1k Unleaded Gas. I dunno why it eats up this much. Kakakuha ko lang neto last Feb and I never altered anything in it. Pure stock.

    akala ko ako lang naka experience nito..
    nasa 1500-2000rpm lang naman driving ko..
    any idea on fuel saving tips on KIA RIO?

    Someone told me na eto lang ung model na ganito kataas ung fuel consumption. What they posted on their site was pure frack. 23mpg (miles per gallon) nakalagay, pero based on experience, roughly 13mpg lang inaabot ko.

    WTF!!! I just refuelled the 2008 bank repossessed rio M/T. I only got 5.6km/liter! Although included during this particular fuel load of sending the car to the casa for 20K PMS, plus several fix ups like steering wheel lubrication/alignment, interior detailing, seatcovers, stereo and horn installation. I don't think the things I had done on the car had any effect on the lousy fuel consumption!

    My Kia Rio has the best fuel consumption with Petron Unleaded. I tried the other brands and I got the best mileage per liter with Petron.

    City driving ko ngayon is 8-10 km/li as opposed to 6 km/li with other brands.

    Malakas talaga ang Rio sa city driving, naglalaro ako sa 8 to 9 km/l. M/T itong akin. Makasampa lang ito ng 10kpl kung may kasamang SLEX or NLEX driving (50/50). I did get a 14.7 kpl one time on highway driving though.

    Update on the Rio. I travelled using the highway and refuelled. I got 12.4km/liter. Then another tank load on regular city driving, and got 8.3km/liter, a much better result than my first reported numbers of 5km/liter. Hay, salamat.

    Ganyan talaga ang Rio. Correction dun sa 14.7 kpl, it was 14.28 kpl pala when I checked my record.

    and its under 2000kms only... hope will have greater figures after its 1st 5000kms pms and nakumpleto ko na performance upgrade... but kailangan ko muna bawasan ang body roll...
