reading back.. it seems there is a wide range of kia fuel efficiencies reported..
is it because of the various driving habits and/or traffic situations?
or is there something wrong with manufacturing quality control?

    Probably due to driving conditions.

My current fuel economy for my Kia Rio 2014 * 2223km ODO hovers around 8km/L at 11-13km/h average speeds. Still using Seaoil Extreme95. Looks pretty decent to me considering how slow travel speeds are.

Forgot to mention that the route taken to Tagaytay was:
    East Ave,
    EDSA,
    SLEX (no skyway),
    Southwoods Exit,
    Carmona,
Emilio Aguinaldo HW from SM Dasma,
    TCI Road,
    Magallanes Drv.

    Route ended at Magallanes Drv.

Some additional driving was done within Tagaytay, but the main drive was the route mentioned above.

Parang consumo ng first gen tucson ko. All city driving route: LP>coastal>roxas Blvd>buendia round trip: 20ltrs diesel 155 to 160 kms lang. Hanip naman kasi ang traffic sa ruta na yan.

2018 QL Sportage SL crdi. Sucat to Clark then back to Balintawak toll is 17.3 kms/ lit. From Balintawak toll to Sucat, final overall mileage is 15.3 kms/lit.
The short trips, frequent stop & go, slow traffic where braking & acceleration is the norm will take a toll on your fuel efficiency.

Hanggang Sucat toll gate lang. I don’t pass through Sucat Rd. Sa may West Service road ako. Ang nakasama yung EDSA. Although flowing, puro acceleration gagawin mo.

No, this is last year’s model, a 6 speed. The 8 speed 2019 hasn’t been released yet.

my 2019 GT still clocks at 12.5 to 15.5kpl.
15.5kpl, laging conservative mode para ma-maintain ang good FC. malakas magpababa yung idle time. pero kung rektahan, no problem ang 16KPL.
