sorry for the late reply sir dami kasi trabaho it's a surplus from korea so i'm guessing it's a '98 model as the avella was discontinued the following year. it's the predecessor of the rio i think.

it has a mazda b3 efi engine. parang maraming avella sa cebu and davao so i was hoping someone from tsikot might also have this little car

I'm based in Manila and i have a 4 door 1993 avella. It's really hard to find parts or a good mechanic who knows how to tinker the car. would any of you guys know anyone?

my dad also owns one and so far the avella has served them well. my mom doesn't even want to sell it because its a very good econo car considering its fc. The probs that we encountered so far is its a/c which we already solved. I was surprised when they took the compressor and evaporator apart because it was made by calsonic which is the a/c producer of nissan. No wonder the a/c was very cool. Regarding the idle speed, about 700-800 rpm is the standard. The car is based in manila with my parents while i am here in bacolod city. Most of the parts are readily available in cebu so if they needed the parts, i just order it from cebu. But try checking in the pregio and mb100 thread because i heard there are korean autosupply selling in pasay and banawe. Its a very reliable car and if you have questions about its maintenance, i'd try to get the opinions of the mechs that takes care of avellas bec they run a fleet of avella taxis. Somtimes i get the parts from them too.
