- Idling for at least 50% of the trip or average speed is less than 10kph
Medium Traffic - May specific part lang sa dinaanan na may build up ng sasakyan pero hindi ka naman magtatagal
- Idling for at least 25% of the trip or average speed is less than 20kph
Light Traffic - Free flowing. pinaka hinto mo mga traffic lights lang. parang Makati pag madaling araw.
- Idling for at least 10% of the trip or average speed is less than 30kph
Highway - Sabi nila driving for 80kph for 10 mins
- Almost no idling or average speed is less than 40kph

hi timrev according to weaponX who owns a hyundai accent 1.4L A/T ganun din problem nila ave.nila also the same 6-7km/L city driving,weaponX occasionally visits this thread kasi antay din nya kung ano gawin ng kia sa problem natin,nandon sya sa thread ng hyundai accent.kaya kung mag accent ka better choose yun 1.6L nila yun ang walang problema.if you would compare the 2 pareho sila ng engine kaya kung ano solution ng accent yun din solution ng rio5.which is ECU UPGRADE dapat configure nila yun GEAR RATIO.

May nakapagpacheck up na ba sa Kia Congressional about our fc issues with Kia Rio HB? Dun ako nirefer ng dealer ko? Possible daw na may error codes. Pila daw parati dun. Nagpa first PMS ako sa Kia Pasay. I just want to check kung okay din ang service dito sa KIa Congressional at kung may malasakit din sila sa customers.

Agree on the fc issue with 1.4 Kia Rio HB A/T and based from stats and observations from other owners, malakas talaga mag consume ng gas lalo na pag traffic.

I think what we need to focus right now is the solution. Anu ba yung target natin na fc on heavy traffic? baseline ba natin ay mga vios even though we have a different engine? target fc on normal or highways?

As what I see from the previous pages, it looks like ECU uprade ang nakikitang solution, ilan na bang owners ang nakagawa nun?
I see some revelant data with regard to using the right fuel (which we should also look into kasi masyadong mahal yung high octane fuels).


Once we have an organized data, we can send a petition to CAC. May be to resolve this by upgrading something that will fit in the Philippine environment what a car should be.

We need to be united and come up and have clear steps on how we will solve the problem.

hi dwhitekiss i agree with you kasi kung pa isa-isa lang tayo na mag complain sa mga casa natin di tayo pansinin ng mga yan sabihin lang isolated case.
yun vios 1.5 A/T ko na binenta ko in favor dito sa rio5 nag average ako ng 8-9km/L same route same distance every week.
kaya alam ko at may basehan ako na sabihin sa kanila na may problema sa rio5.

maybe we can organize a grand eyeball so each of us can sign a petition,and each of us will submit a copy of some basic information sa auto natin, kelan binili, san casa, yun VIN ng auto, yun millage, plate number, photo copy ng OR-CR, ect....

and kung sino magaling gumawa ng letter dyan please lang po gawa kayo then paki post po dito for any revision or suggestion,then kung ok na grand eyeball tayo for photo op and sign the petition.

if we are united maybe then may gawin na sila.

halos same nga problem sa accent ang rio 1.4 AT...nun una yun accent ang tinitignan ni wifey pero rinocomend ko yun rio 1.2 LX nalang ayaw ko mamroblema sa FC masakit sa bulsa...kung ako lang eon or avanza nalang...
