Guys, sa may mga may-ari ng RIO 2012 Sedan, ano ang fuel consumption (FC) niya sa city?? Hope you guys can provide information.. Thanks...

According to a Club Member (based on his trip computer)
9km/L on Heavy Traffic
10-11km/L on City Driving
14-19km/L on Highway/Long Drive

We'll ask him to do the FC computation manually to check the reliability of the Trip Computer. And we'll still see if this will keep up after the 1000km ODO mark.

What is the engine displacement of the above vehicle? I understand from previous posts that there are two engine variants, 1.2 and 1.4, available for the new rio.

The FC appears to be very good for this new 1.4L variant if that is an accurate measurement. I cannot get my 2010 rio to 10 kpl on city driving alone even when I don't get exposed to heavy traffic.

Yes I believe the common FC for the facelifted is:
Heavy Traffic: 6.5-8km/L
City Driving : 8.5-9km/L
Mixed : 9.5-10.5km/L
Highway : 11-14km/L

sa City driving with heavy traffic sa dinadaanan ko, i get 10L/100kms, pero pag maluwag at wala gaano traffic 8-9L/100kms.
during break-in period pa yung car at according sa manual 2k-4k rpm lang, kaya mejo nalalakasan ako sa consumption ko, after 1000 odo dun ko malalaman actual fuel consumption ng Kia Rio 2012 1.4. currently 300+ plang ODO ko 6 days old, at nabanga ng bwisit na motor at tinakbuhan ako dahil traffic. bwisit tlga, kaya from now on pag may oovertake na motor sakin di ko pinapayagan ginigitgit ko na at sagad na walang space sa harap. kasi sa sobrang mapag bigay ko,pagsingit ng motor ayun dale front bumper ko,eto nangyari sa 2 days old na Kia Rio ko.

Guys confirm ko lang. Yung 838k na price tag nung hatchback is for cash purchases only? We saw a kia booth kasi dito sa sm cebu and the hatchback is priced at 999k.

hi tonio. oo, i live there. taga BL ka rin? thanks. oo nga, ganda talaga nya. nagpacarwash ako sa may dona soledad extension. it was mobbed. lahat ng tao lumapit and inquired and checked the interiors.

Went to Megamall yesterday and the Sedan (AT) and HB versions were displayed. The HB's shoes were great! The best part for me was the spare is similar. Hope they would come up with a cheaper MT version though.

rio here in cebu is expensive. ex m/t is 840k and ex a/t is 900k. wow. almost the same price with the elantra.

Dapat dito ka sa manila bibili tapos ipa ship mo na lang. Did that when I was still working in davao. Only paid less than 10k for the shipment.

yeah sucks to be in the province. i understand there is a freight charge but it's usually around 30k-50k but a rio 1.4 ex m/t at 840k is just way too much.

OT:
even our gasoline is 5-7 pesos more expensive because of freight charge

We recently shipped a bare bones strada (b/new) to Davao. Shipment cost with marine insurance is almost 50K. Mas mura kung idrive and taking roros?
