Question naman.. Alam nyo ba or napansin nyo ba kung gano katagal bago mabawasan ang coolant sa reservoir? Kc nasa half na ng low and full ang sa akin, e two months plng ung sporty ko. Pero daily use naman. Sa inyo ba gano katagal bago kyo nag top-up? Tnx

Sir, tama lang ang level ng coolant nyo if it's between the Low and Full marker. Hindi po dapat na nasa full level yan. Lahat po ng sasakyan lalo na at bago dapat nasa mid level lang so wag po kayo ma alarm. Unless na may leak sa reservoir nyo, it will take years bago po kayo mag top up ng coolant.

May kasalanan sa akin Kia Congressional. Kasama sa 30,000km PMS yun fuel filter at spark plugs.

Ngayon, after PMS (last week) hard starting na-experience ko. Once pa nga pagbukas ng A/C (note: normal engine temp na) biglang namatay yun engine. Minsan sinisinok pag-start ng engine.

Ano kaya problema?
- Defective Fuel Filter?
- They f*cked up installing the fuel filter?
- Defective spark plugs?

Kahapon kasi dinala ko ulit dun para i-check. Gusto ko sana i-diagnose sa GDS kaso nasa planta GDS nila for reprogramming din. Binaklas ulit nila fuel filter tapos binalik. Hindi ko alam kung chineck yun spark plugs. Tapos kagabi at kaninang umaga nasa 6 seconds nanaman bago mag-start yun engine.

Putaragis na Theta II yan sakit sa ulo buti pa CRDi kahit mahal ang maintenance mas madali magpalit ng pyesa. Yun fuel filter kasi ng Theta II nasa fuel tank. Ang CRDi nasa likod lang ng ECU.

Mukang sakit sa ulo uung nangyari syo bro ha.. Malamang nga sa fuel filter yan. Kasi yun lng ang isa sa major parts na ginalaw nila bago nagkaganyan.. Update ka naman kapag na resolve na ung problem.

R-eVGT yun Tucson at Santa Fe namin. Sa totoo lang ayoko ng Theta II pero no choice dahil wala pang CRDi na Sportage.

Unioil Euro Diesel gamit ko dun sa CRDi.

Uulitin ko lang, nung pinalitan yun fuel filter TSAKA NAGLOKO YUNG SPORTAGE. Bago ko dalahin for PMS, lahat maayos. Pati nga battery ko maayos pero RIGHT AFRER PMS NAGLOKO NA RIN. Though 2 years na yun battery.

Buong PMS nakabantay ako. Inabot ng maghapon at hindi pa nga ako nag lunch para lang bantayan sila.

Kanina pala 4 times ginamit yun Sportage. Inaabot ng 5 seconds bago talaga mag start ang engine. Mas lumala yung hard starting from Saturday night.

Binalik ko sa Kia Congressional yun Sportage last Saturday para ipa check. Okay naman daw lahat at observe nalang daw. What an Imbecile!

Naisip ko na yan bro, kapag hindi pa talaga napatino nila Kia Congressional, sa Pasay ko na dadalahin. Or sila na uutusan kong dalahin sa Pasay yun unit.

Nakaka inis eh normal naman yun Sportage bago nila pag-papapalitan yun fuel filter at spark plugs.

hi been lurking and back reading on the forums for a couple days now..just got my first bank approval for a kia sportage..and i plan to trade in my second hand 2004 chevy optra for the downpayment on the 99k CRDi Sportage. and i have a few questions that i was hoping you might be able to help me with..since this is the first time ill be using a diesel or going thru a dealer/trade-in for a car...i run a startup production company that deals with avps/commercials/photo video..i choose the sportage for my requirements of enough space for gear/crew,fuel efficiency and comfort since we are on the road most of the time and because of the promo and ability to trade in.

1st question: (trade-in) has anyone had any experience with trade-in? are they more willing to give out freebies on cases like these? is the 80-100k a lowball estimate?wiil try to push it to 120k...
2nd questionfreebies/ paid modifications) I prefer a super black tint and medium in front for security reasons since i have a lot of gear that we carry for work. if the casa cant provide the free 3m tint to this spec has anyone asked to convert the headlight bulb to something stronger? or any other freebie? fuel/rain guard?

and im in a subdivision with bad roads and i carry a heavy load(crew/gear) from time to time...was thinking of getting strutbars for an improvement??? any experience with this mod? i plan on a lowkey look for the sporty (iwas break-in) and im on a tight budget of around 10k that hopefully can include TINT/Seat cover/Bulbs and /or strutbars
tint- free from dealer or titanium???platinum???(thats what i think i have on my optra and its dark enough)
seatcover - seatmate or sureseats here in the south..seatmate gave me a better deal though and suggested custom embroidery for my covers
bulb - i read osram night breakers/all weather or philips xtreme vision are good and budget friendly
strutbars- still researching...

3rd question: insurance...the 99k promo for the sportage doesnt come with insurance..the dealer is giving me around 32k staggered on an insurance they recommended..but i heard a lot of good things about mafre which they are tied with as well but was told it would cost more than the one they originally offered which was solid gratuity insurance i think..has anyone had experience with solid gratuity insurance? i prefer a hassle free transaction if ever i need to use my insurance..

hindi ako nakatulog ng ilang buwan kaka-research ng bibilhin... tapos hindi rin ako nakatulog habang nag-aantay sa sporty... kala ko makakatulog na ako pagdating! ang dami pa pala dapat isipin like paint protection, cleaning materials, additional rustproofing (?), accessories, mods, read the manual, and so on! whew! haha!

Mga Sir, question lang kung napansin nyo ba na pag cold start yung sporty nyo is makalog ng konti as in mararamdaman mo yung vibration, pero pag umangat na ng konti yung temperature gauge is mawawala na yung vibration. Tapos yung suspension ba talaga natin medyo may konting tunog? kasi kapag sa maliliit na lubak na sunodsunod may parang kalog ng konti na tunog sa ilalaim. Last sa inyo ba may rattling sound sa may pinto ata yun or sa seatbelt? Thanks!!!
