new sportage owner here, mukhang etong mags bagay kay Vanilla Ice(clear white) ko....hehe!

Is it me, or talaga mahirap linisin ang black part ng Sportage..the black not smooth area of the wheel well and the bottom part (under the doors). dirty pa rin siya even if you sponge it..anyone can suggest paano linisin yun....TIA

Mahirap talaga linisin yon black plastic part... try mo spray some rubber care product, it helps... install na lang stepboard

Thanks. so far. yan lang ayaw ko sa Sportage...well...next to the brake pad noise.

Kapag nilagyan mo ng step board ganun parin kasi same material lang ng plastic eh.

Ang ginagawa ko dyan I use soft brush para ma-linis ng mabuti. Tapos apply ng Microtex Sun Shield protectant.

Hi fellow sporty owners,

Just got my sportage two weeks ago. Great experience so far, excellent value compared to other compact SUVs.

Have anybody noticed that the suspension gets more comfy over time? or is it just me getting used to the rather stiff suspension?

Only complaint so far are the rather loud brakes and the more than usual brake dusts. Strong brakes though.

For fellow owners who installed stepboards, could you refer me to a shop where you got them?

Just a point of discussion for the owners of Sportage.

Regarding STEPBOARD, are you thinking of getting it for aesthetic or function?

IMO, its for the looks, function not so much, the sportage is not that tall to require that, but then again, I'm 5'10 so for me, its not needed.

^ Maybe for aesthetic purposes. Especially the BMW-look step board. Nagkabit ako nun sa Tucson ko before, pero binenta ko after 2 weeks because I prefer the stock looks, hindi bagay sa color, and it's useless. Mas nahirapan pa ako bumaba kasi ang lapad.

is the rear view camera and rear parking sensor stock in the 4x2 Sportage? if not, would anyone here know where i can get one installed? how much? thanks

If you want the rearview camera, mas ok na bumili ka na rin ng OEM-look head unit para sulit. Si Lurkercar nagbebenta siya ng mga HU. AFAIK 31K yung price kasama na rear cam at install.

Kasi yung OEM rear cam + ECM rear view mirror w/ LCD e nasa 55K na, wala pa installation sa Casa.

Range from 1.6M to 1.75M depending on the detail spec.

Sir, when you say "sukatin", do you mean to measure the diameter of the wheels (mags with tires)? and compare it with the diameter of the stock wheels and see if the difference is not too much? Thanks..
