It's been 3 days since I received my new CARENS LX/MT. I did replaced the original tires and steel rims with 17" mags from concept one & 255/55 Tires. It looks good and superb. Now I am looking for some roof rails, could someone give me some advice on where to get those and ideas about its price.

congrats "jajagarcia", pix naman dyan nung car mo with the mags on a visible angle.... galing ng size ah....255, nagkasya ba sya w/o rubbing? sa akin kasi dati eh 225/55-R17; nung napudpod na palit ako to slightly smaller 215/55-R17; yung tungkol sa roof-rail, i think u can back read kung saan puedeng bumili at pakabit nun.... pero personally i wouldn't recommend it...kasi 1) it ruins the Caren's aesthetics (masyadong tumatangkad tingnan) 2) installation involves drilling, will be a cause for future body corrosion. pero to each his own...so good luck!

Thanks for the info. I don't feel any rubbing kasyang kasya naman. Haven't tried it when the car is full. I have made an album of my ride in my profile showing my mags, try to check it nalang..Will be updating pics whenever I added some mods

It costs me for about 50k, 35k for the set of mags and got the tires for 15k.

Wow ang mura naman ng tires na nakuha mo? anong brand ito? gaano kataas ang itinaas ng ride mo sir. Mine are 245/45/18 yata e if im not mistaken. 2nd set of mags ko na nga ito e kasi nabasag yun first set ko which is hinahanapan ko padin ng isang piraso pa para macomplete ko ulit.

Hahaha buhay pa pala ang record ko a.

Sir try mo sa thule, been trying to acquire one recently pero hindi ko pa nadadala ang unit ko for fitting sa kanila e. It would cost you aroung 17k pag yun aerobar ang gagamitin mo pag yun bakal lang naman e nasa around 13k.

I feel for you Vinrem. Ilang beses na ring nangyari sa Carens ko yan. As in sa dalawang door on the right side of the car kaya nakakapanggigil. At the end of the day, wala rin akong magawa kundi ipinagdasal ko na lang ang gumawa nun.

yung mags s santolan road q nabili Wheel Gallery Incorporated yung name ng shop greenhills, yun tires d2 lng s cainta 3.2k* west lake yumg brand made in china.

Iniisip ko na lang na its part of the cars life na meron talagang ganyan para di masyado sumama ang loob, anyway, the important thing is na di magka problem and engine natin.

yung sa akin naman last week ay tinamaan ng bato, habang nag da drive ako bigla na lang akong may narinig na malakas na "thud", tumigil ako umatras ng konti at pagbukas ko ng bintana "sorry po, sorry po", T*3ng bata, bad trip!! tumama sa rear passenger side sa itaas ng pinto :mad2::swear:

Anyone knows where the engine number is located? Papa stencil ko kasi to cancel the mortgage sa lto kaso di makita ng mag stencil! Tiningnan ko yung manual but it doesn't clearly show kung nasaan e. Yung chassis number nasa ilalim ng passenger seat nakita ko na pero yung engine number hindi pa. Naknangtokwa, bakit dito nilalagay ng kia/hyundai ang hirap nito pag registration kelangan pa hagilapin.

Fellow carens owners, our carens' insurance is up for renewal this September (2 years LX A/T). What is the valuation of the vehicle by your insurance company?

I got a quote from Mafre for P630k value which seems to be kind on the low side. Brand bias perhaps?
