December 10th, 2007 10:55 AM #342have been monitoring this thread since it started.
I still have my 03 trooper with 55Km, w/ complete casa records... so far no problem.
At least I will be ready when the time comes but spending roughly 50T + - for the injector problem... seems fine with me as long at it will give me another 50T ++ Km more
Cant sell, too much depreciation (and I actually like the car), better for me to keep it, at least for now...

i really wish the 4jx1 owners good luck on their vehicles. It's good some of your vehicles are still working fine. but reality is, i know when you guys are driving your loved troopers, in the back of your mind your thinking i hope it doesnt break down.
I know i felt that way when I used to have my trooper. It gave a nice soft ride, silent, and powerful. But will it last?
a car of 40K-100K should not have any problems with fuel injectors. if and when more and more 4jx1 breaks down, i bet it would be hard to dispose your vehicles. If i could turn back time, I should have bought a pajero instead, cheaper than trooper, better resale value, and most likely ill still be driving it till now.

December 11th, 2007 10:30 AM #348mdpo,
2000 model trooper, he he wala na kaba, new na injectors trooper ko.. he he

Bro,
Ceramic na ba injectors ang kinabit mo? Sa akin so far ok naman ang takbo... no black smoke bilis pa tumakbo... kaso after reading this thread ayan nagkalokoko na...
kinakabahan tuloy ako regarding unreliability... napapalitan ko na yung RPCV valve nito dati pa nung 10K check up pero yung mga injector wala pa... di skyroof edition yung sa akin ah...

December 12th, 2007 12:00 AM #350mdpo,
basta sa injector... euro-2 and euro-3 lang yan.. parang euro-3 pwede sa euro-2... paki-ask na lang sa walco, para sure..
re rpcv -- dapat it comes is a sealed aluminum packaging
meron pa 4th item (in case) throttle position sensor... when in doubt pa tech2mo na lang, para iwas guess work.
