yep plastic yung up and down portion nung alum radiator. 4jx1 lang naman kasi nagkamatic transmission ng isuzu sa diesel e so thats what i am interested. btw, napm co na cell ko sayo.

May automatic din ang 4JG2 kaso JDMs. Why do want a 4Jx1 radiator?

4jgtootsie, kahit yung sa jdm na 4jg2 okay lang din. me paggagamitan lang ako sasakyan as long as it is aluminum.

mintoy, seach mo lang. meron ako kaso medyo malaking file. di ko lang makita yung link kasi naformat yung hardisk ko. dun sa sa parang source ng mga automotive file. bauschan ba yun? kasama nya pati mga susuki, toyota, rover pdf files. hth

hi mga peeps,

question on the egr of the 4jg2. when i got our trooper lotus, i noticed the the egr vacum tubes were not connected. when i connected them. we noticed black smoke while running. i disconnected the vacum hoses again and no black smoke comes out.

my question is what is the purpose of the egr and will it be ok to disconnect it permanently? thanks.

EGR is known as exhaust gas recirculation. It is an emmission control device thats fitted now to most cars diesel/gas engines. It's purpose is to reduce the NOX formation on your exhaust by lowering the combustion temp. Though it recirculates 5-10% of the inert exhaust which we perceived as a very hot gas, it actually lowers the combustion temp due to displacement of excess Oxygen in combustion chamber. Technically and by most experience having it disconnected doesn't have a big impact sa engine performance. Yung nga lang tyak mataas ang NOX emmission mo.
Drawback ng meron nyan is the formation of carbon deposits sa intake manifold and intake valves, in the end nakasave ka nga ng NOX emmission pero ang particulates emmission mo naman is tataas kase due to inefficient combustion..kaya umuusok ang kapag kinabit mo ang vacuum hose. Now kung newly cleaned ang intake manifold and egr valve, dapat hindi sya mag emit ng black smoke. Constant cleaning maintenance dapat kung gusto mo na nagfunction ang egr.

yep its the same manual as mine. di ko kasi sure kung me timing belt diagram yung sa manual ko. pero i thinks its the same as mine.

re; egr, if i were you block mo na lang yung egr. minsan kasi na stock sya open kaya lagi circulate ang exhaust gas sa intake. para lang sa emission control yan. yung local na 4jg2 afaik wala.

thanks guys for your reply's on the egr. i guess i'll keep it disconnected cuz during an emission test. its the particulates that they measure. will just keep my hho gen on to hopefully reduce the nox.

block off mo na ng blank plate. kasi problema nyan baka mastock open yung valve.
