mababa lang rev ng diesel try driving at 40kph to 50kph super tipid sa diesel ambagal nga lang.
During those times that I conducted fuel economy tests on my 2001 4JX1 Trooper, I think I got about 7.4 km./liter for city driving, and roughly 8.6 km./liter for combined city and provincial-highway driving.
I don't believe those fuel economy figures of Troopers and other Isuzu vehicles as heralded by Isuzu during their so-called economy runs.
Mahirap talaga ma-attain yon on a normal driving.
Una, pinili yong lugar na malayo ang downhill run, and taking notes on the account of the driver, naka N sya on descent. Ginagamit yong bwelo para maka-akyat, para konting rev na lang ang kailangan sa mga paahon (konti lang ito)
A motoring col of Inq, suggested a MM route, to be taken during daytime, hinamon nya mga car manufacturers sa contest -- of course, no takers

I did a country-run of my '01 Trooper last Friday and yesterday, reaching a total of roughly 250 km., running an average of between 50 and 55 km./hr., with a burst maximum speed of 100 km./hr., and the fuel economy is - 13.79 km./liter using Shell diesolene ultra. Excellent result.
I had a consumption of about 16 km/liter when I did a lil city driving and did a round trip to San Juan Batangas. We did speeds of as much as 140 kph on certain loose stretches. Of course, it was a Sunday drive with some regular city driving so it would have been worse if it was purely city driving. It all depends on how you drive and push the engine. If you get too pushy, you are pushing lotso fuel out the exhaust.
Anybody with an isuzu pickup? How many liters per km (average- city driving and highway) does your pickup consume?
I have an isuzu DI 2004 and it runs at 12 km per liter. My friends say it should run at not less than 14-17km per liter.
True ba?
Tama ba yan? Hanef! I thought all the while that it runs at most 14km/li.
Yung 14-15km/li on Highway ay normal. 16-17km/li highway is tipid mode driving not more than 90kph. And, by the way, I'm using 5% BD :-)
So i should be hitting at least 13-14.5 km per liter on the average (city driving and highway). The present 12km per liter average is way below pa. Manual rin, direct injection. And mostly nasa tipid mode driving not more than 90kph.
