I often see them installed on Petrol-fed engines -- specially sa mga carb (non-injected) engines. Personally, i have not tried using such on any of my diesel units. I guess I didn't see the need for it.... matipid naman na yung former Crosswinds ko e. As for the Trooper, I expected it to consume more fuel being a 3.0L TDIC. Besides, balita ko na installing such FSD alters the engine's characteristics.... dunno but makes sense to me.

Talaga!? Good thing I loaded up already earlier kanina.

As for the PETRON Power Booster, I honestly don't know the price (since my initial stock was given to me by my brother) but should not be that expensive. I "felt" the improvement in performance. That I find subjective and difficult to measure but my FC "improved"... say, 1km/liter. No special adjustments nor change oil were performed prior to application of the additive.

Yes, they are being sold in all authorized Petron stations. Here is how it looks like:

That could be very deceiving. If you had your Trooper full tank to the brim, it would take time before you see any needle movement. The same occurs to me when I do so.

I estimate around 10kms/li on the average... mixed city/highway driving. Maybe my wife achieves better FC kasi she alsways complains when I drive it, nauubos daw agad yung krudo. Hataw kasi daw ako mng hataw!

Yeah sagad nga as in. im only averaging about 6.8 per liter (pure city) since sa area namin matrapik at lagi ako nakatambay sa loob during break time

    Mga Sir's...

Ok lang bng punasan ko ng "oil" galing sa Motorcycle yung T-gear ng XUV? or much better yung "grease" nalang!? (to avoid "squickling" lng sa umaga at pag bagong start.)

    * Benz, Direct naba hinahalo yung PBooster after mag p fuel k?

Huh? Why would you want to apply oil on the T-gear? Thou considered as "countermeasure / temporary" lang, I still would not suggest that. Maybe it's best to have it check at baka may problema talagang dapat pagtuunan ng pansin.

Yup, direct mix yung PBooster. Buhis mo lang sa kargahan ng krudo. As suggested, one full tank (not necessary thou) = 1 PBooster. May isa nga ako kilala sa MB Club na 2 containers pa nilalagay niya every full tank nya e. price of having so much money....

    Hi Mga Sirs,

Bago lang po sa kasi when it comes with Diesel engines.
I just acquired a Crosswind XTO 01' Turbo A/T model. in replacement for my Mitsubishi lancer.

I switched to deisel kasi mahal talaga ung gas na.

I also just loaded a 10 liter caltex fuel on it yesterday. Here's the catch, on the Gas indicator nasa E na ung arrow but di pa din umiilaw ung "Bat signal" (bansag ko lang po sa Fuel low warning). I'm not sure kung sira sya o ganoon talaga. Then ngaun it ran about 35km and halos nangalahati na ata ung sa gauge compared after i filled it up yesterday.

I just would like to know the usual kilometers per liter ratio for this type of vehicle.
AT Turbo po ung engine. and if there are tips on how to make it fuel efficient.

    Thanks po Ü

    * butirog,

Sir yung bang sinasabi mo na tumatakbo pa ng malayo(35km) car mo kahit nasa "empty" na cya?! Maybe all thesame sa iba pang Isuzu unit espicially sa crosswind(any kind) Base on my experince, espicially now na madalang ako mag city driving ngyun,Nag coconsume lang ako ng 200Ph.(back in fort) Novaliches to Manila at may natitira pako sometimes na 1 or 2 liters after i travelled. "matipid lang talaga cya at walang problema gauge mo bro.(much lower panga ako a "empty" below mag maniho today.) titipid kasi! hehe...
About sa Fuel efficient, Iwasan mulang yung pabombabomba(pump) ng gas while driving. A/T panaman gamit mo , also mine. Hayaan mulang cyang mag accelerate (before 18km to 20km.) Wag mung diinan or madaliin yung "tapak ng gas, "smooth" lang bro.(Para kalang my "pinipisilpisil"yung talampakan mo.) Steady mulang A/C mo, wag yung papihitpihit ka.Pag malapit kana sa home nyo e off muna a/c mo cguro naman enough na yung lamig bago kayo maka-uwi.(espicially kapag rainy days.) Most importantly REGULAR MAINTANCE sa casa.
Base on my experience lng po yan kasi before i owned adventure sport "diesel" din.

Keep in mind: It's always MAN and MACHINE principle in Fuel Efficiency.

    MACHINE:
No question that ISUZU has proven it's engine on Fuel Efficiency.... as red16 already has mentioned, PROPER MAINTENANCE is the key to keeping your engine in top shape and fuel efficient.

    MAN:
Proper Driving Habit plays an important role in going the extra mile on your fuel... gas or diesel. Jack Rabbit Starts, Unnecessary acceleration and sudden braking to name a few driver mistakes one commits. Do these correctly and you'd be surprised the extra savings you'll generate.

Oh, regarding the lighting up of the "Low Fuel" indicator, each vehicle has "RESERVE FUEL" --- programmed alongside the indicator. I believe the tank capacity of Crosswind is 60 liters (tama ba?) and it does take an effort to make the needle move when filling up. Fact that your vehicle may be fuel efficient and you know "proper driving" --- that may be a contributing factor why you still have fuel. --- or you just got used with your former (Lancer) na malakas makakunsumo ng gas.

My crosswind 2010 with its 55L tank capacity reaches E on the level gauge with around 15L left without the Empty indicator lit. I have only to fuel up around 40L to full tank once I refueled immediately upon reaching E. E on my level gauge can run many kilometers before reaching the reserve. I don't know if my level gauge is calibrated correctly or this is how isuzu set the fuel level gauge.

Most cars are set to run about 30-40km from reserve. I'm not sure with this crosswind. My service vehicle (Nissan) has around 4 liters fuel on its tank when the E level is lit.
