just bougth a dmax 3.0 LS 04 A/T with odo 60,263

had it full tanked automatic then ran aroud 27.5km, filled her up again (automatic ulit) 4.8 ltrs

gulat ako sa consumption ko pumatak lang ng 5.7km/ltr

bakit po kaya ganito lang itinakbo?

natural lang po ba konsumo nya?

way too low sa standard ng dmax.

uber traffic ba? how about yun engine oil bagong palit ba?

daming factors kung bakit mababa fc, but then.... 6km/l?

That is definitely abnormal. I've driven a D-Max 4x4 and basically ran it like hell in city and out. Worst FC registered was 9kms/liter.

Best to have it changed oil. That would help.

dami po factors nyan sir.. try mo ipa general check up sa casa... and have them try to diagnose it with tech2.... maybe the trans oil need changing, engine oil... tune up... etc...

Im a mitsu baby, but the answer to this one is that d-max have the most powerfull engine. Example last year dito sa thailand Stock turbo d-max just exhaust mods and a chip run the quarter mile 12 seconds............yan ang power a standard turbo nag d-max can run up to 30 psi boost not like the others run only half or a bit more than half.

D-max up to date is still the best diesel engine for me....................if have no limit to be fully mod...................when it comes to engine d-max pa rin for me.....................

Thanks for the replies. Did a couple of test drives and I've decided on the D-Max. I'm just waiting for the dealer to have the color that I want (black). :D

Any one interested a Brand New IHI turbo for 3.0 also this is a perfect upgrade for any one with a 2.5.

Fits the stock manifold and all fitting. With a combination of our chip, it can give you a boost from 30 psi to 40 psi, only with the chip you need a bigger intercooler also available.

This turbo with our chip runs 14 seconds in the quarter mile............

sir benz may question lang po ako. recommended po ba gumamit nung mobil 1 turbo diesel truck 5w-40 na synthetic oil for '08 dmax???...gusto ko kasi sana i-try un dahil lam ko maganda mobil1. saka saan mura makakabili nung langis na un?mahal kasi ung mga nakita ko sa ace hardware e. pero kung ganun talaga ranging ng price e i have no choice, pero really wanna try that one.

*vanleano: sabi ok din daw ang maxxis. and also mickey thompson kaso mahal ata.hehe within this year mapapalit na din ako new tires e. 265/70/16 na yokohama geolandar at-s gamit ko, ung nkalagay sa boondock. im planning pa nga na ung ipalit ko is 275/70/16 or 265/75/16 if may makikita ako maganda. dapat kasi michelin kukunin ko e,kaso grabe mahal. nga lang e tested ko na michelin,dun palang sa xwind ko dati, layo na narating nun. mga 100T kms inabot before ako nagpalit. ewan ko lang pero parang may nadidinig ako issues regarding dunlop na malutong daw masyado kaya madaling mapudpod. kaya d na ko naginteres na magcanvass nun. try mo sa tyre galllery alabang, dun ako usually nabili ng gulong if wala sa yokohama samin dito biñan. magkamag anak kasi owner nun. they give discounts naman. regarding naman dun sa power window e lam ko may ilaw un. d ko lang masyado matandaan kasi d ko pinapansin lately.hehe

would you guys have an idea if this bit of info is true. is the 2010 d-max LS 4x4 A/T shorter than the other versions? i've read that it's only 4495mm compared to other versions that is 4995mm. i'm not sure if this is a typo though.

i only have limited space left inside my garage, but if this bit of info is indeed true, i might just get the d-max next week. i also plan to visit an isuzu dealer in the coming days, but if anyone can confirm this, it would be great. thanks!

D-Max (since introduced back in '03) should be the same length as to 2010 models D-Max. No change.
