Our previous XUV also took in about 6L every oil change. For oil filter changes, most of the time I see mechanics use a 'tool' more often during its removal than installation. If you really want to save, you can just bring it to any gasoline/service station. Buy the oil & filters from an auto supply and just pay for the labor costs.

guys, thanks a lot for the replies...i already went to isuzu pasig (along c-5) guess what? hindi available yung parts :-) ...mukang ok itong walco i'm going to call their number asap.

re: dun kuha 450k medyo mura kasi mataas na masyado yung kilometrahe nya..super dumi pa..yung fog lamps busted..may tubig at lumot pa sa loob yung nasa kanan..yung interior lights/lamps puno ng patay na insekto hehe! (pano kaya nakapasok dun?) scratches and small dents here and there..bali yung antenna..sira yung susian sa driver's door..spare tire has a hole the size of my fist..no tools no jack..saka yung na-mention ko na before..saka puti sya kaya pag madumi mukang gusgusin..if you love to take care of your car you cannot compare ur car with this...pero nung medyo nalinis na okey na..problema na lang yung windows di ko matangal yung water spots..luckily walang sira yung interior except yung missing lever..

nakita ko sa ilang websites yung 2002 XUV tumatakbo ng 650 to 700k+ pa..

yup, subukan kong i-suggest yung flexi connection instead of welding it again...most of the service vehicles of the company i'm working with are highlanders..ito rin ang problema..

may tanong pa ako..yung pillars (both sides) between 2nd and 3rd row may napansin ako cracks about an inch long dun mismo sa base, door side..parehong side ng sasakyan..metal fatigue? meron ba kayong napansin na ganito on your isuzu's?

nerbyoso,

tnx for the reply. i had also replaced one of the foglamps due to a busted lamp. nabangga kasi ng konti ang bumper sa gate namin. napansin na lang na may basag ang foglamp nung nakitang may tubig na sa loob. natunaw pa ang deflector. kala ko mura lang to, mahal pala kaya pina insurance ko na.

wingman,

Based sa description mo, mukhang dumaan sa matinding gamit yang ride mo a. Mukhang ipinang-offroad yata e.

Pero nice buy yan bro. Subok talaga Crosswind.

i have an 02 isuzu xwind xuv
im from davao and loved doing road trip in terms with the fuel consumption of the xwind super tipid talaga nagtataka ako kung bakit naka post d2 na fuel consumption ng mga xwind are only abou 9.65 km/liter thats not the case at all on average city driving you can get about 11.4 km/liter and highway is at a whopping 15.5 km/liter! i can prove it by having a full tank of 50 liters i traveled from davao to cagayan de oro city and back to davao, a total of 700kms without refueling, i did brought an extra liter of fuel just in case i ran out in the middle of the road. when it did the trip meter was at 775 km. now you do the math! astig ano provided kung kaya nyo tiisin hangang 1700rpm and a max of 60 kph top that xwind owners!!!!!! hahaha

Tiga-Davao ka kasi. Metro Manila traffic has a habit of sapping a lot of fuel. You come to a standstill a lot, and if you don't move right away when traffic moves, sisingitan ka (hence, tradeoff... extra fuel to surge forward or extra fuel spent waiting in the same place?).

I've hit 16 km/l on the highway before, but best I can maintain in Manila during the rush hour is really 10 km/l. You can only get 12 km/l and above in Manila during the early mornings and late at night.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I think that is just about right. Mine is XUVi A/T, at half tank I average at 150kms.

guys hingi lang sana ako advise from you...Has anyone of you there had an experience of converting the jam seat into a third row sit facing front of an XUV? Im Planning kasi to convert my XUV into a third row option just like the sportivo. Lahat kasing XUV comes with a jam sit option only. Do you think this is good thing to do to my XUV? is it a good decision? Hindi ko naman kasi kailangan masyado madaming kargamento...If ever i will convert it, may pagkakaiba ba sa leg room ng original third row sit sportivo and yong kinonvert lang? I already ask sa dealer ko, and they were charging us 13k for converting it. TIA

XUV '08 Owners,

Have you experience Steering turning right ? during 45km/h up.. I have complain this to Isuzu and they had send my XUV to wheel alignment based on their computerized alignment but haven't did some Wheel balancing, After the've aligned and perfectly followed their computerized alignment, and did some test drive, I was so surprised it was still the same problem, I let them do the test drive and they said the road is not even that is why my Xuv steered me to the right, specially when you take off your hand from the hand wheel. So, I bring them to NLEX which has a smooth road and nothing to blame on the roads, but still the same. I feel that Xuv's 08 are not safe ?

Any ideas on this or have experienced on your Xuv's 08 ?

Thanks,
Mehealator

Hi guys, since this is a crosswind thread. Wanna ask where could I look for 2nd hand crosswind XT for 350K. I tried to look around pero all I saw being sold were XTO version and I cannot afford them. They go around 400-500K. Its my 1st time to buy a car, so your suggestions are all welcome.

Thanks in advance.
