Can't be so sure but I have not heard any case on CRDI engines of Hyundai.... and it uses the same "dirty diesel" as everyone else here in the Philippines.

if you're tired of having the exhaust pipe fixed, try to have a flexible connection inserted between the A and B part. that's the part near the front doors.

as for other parts concerns, try to call walco in banawe if they have any of those parts that you need. look for their number sa yellow pages or dun sa isuzu club section. alam ko meron dun e.

Guys, Just need a few tips! anyway, Im driving a XUV-2007 a/t edition. It is a long story how I got this car. Basically minana namin ni misis.Honestly di ako happy sa performance niya. I get 7km/liter I use shell diesel(for city driving)10km/l hi-way. And the reason Im whinging is that I went to ilocos nung Holy week and I feel na underpowerd itong crosswind xuv. Change the oil and filters as stated on the manual. If you can give me tips on how to improve performance and furl milage please do. I am sorely tempted to trade it in for the dmax ls 3.0 with the CRDi(ipon lang muna). If you can giv me tips please do. and saan pwede pakabit ng bull bar na reliable din? I live at quezon city. Saan niyo alam na meron. God bless!

ganyan talaga ang crosswind at sir..mabagal..kung gusto mo palitan mo ung turbo..may kilala ako na nagbebenta at nagkakabit ng turbo..more and better HP than the usual..2.5L lang kasi ang xwind compared sa dmax na 3.0L..kung gusto mo ng diesel dapat manual..pero since at na yang auto palitan mo ung turbo into a much better one..

bullbars ba?sa banawe ka punta..dami dun..palagay mo ung bullbar na may steel sa ilalim para pag tag ulan nahahawi ung tubig at hindi madaling kalawangin ung pang ilalim mo.. ;)

hi po mga fellow crosswind owners! bago lng po ako dito, i've been reading this thread for a while and i find it interesting to join in.
i have a Crosswind XUVi 2006 Alpine White. i bought it last July 2006, that makes it almost 3 years now. i had these observations: the classic "punit" at the bottom of the pillar sa 2nd row, some anoying noises on at least 2 areas (1 sa lock na hood banda, 1 sa down under), and also ung kabig sa ryt...can you share some inputs about these things sirs?

hello to all, i'm just new here. medyo may regrets kasi ako sa pagkabili namin ng sportivo crosswind 2008 A/T last march 21, 2009. nawalan ako ng gana nung papunta kami ng baguio. sa high way pa lang napansin ko na parang naging magalaw na ang takbo nya where in fact nasa 100km/hr pa lang ang takbo lagi ko kasing compare yung handle sa toyota corolla na may automatic steering wheel lock ba yun kapag high speed na.tapos parang tunog baka pa kapag tapak mo ang acceleration pedal sa A/T. hirap na hirap naman nung paakyat na sa baguio halos di na umaandar parang pagong todo na ang tapak mo sa gas. i'm not sure kung sa driving style ko lang yun. yun nga lang thumbs up ako talaga pag dating sa fuel consumption, matipid talaga. help naman kasi parang nagsisisi me kung dapat ba sana ang pinili ko na lang yung toyota fortuner over crosswind disappointed kasi ako sa performance....thanks in advance...

yup sobra tipid ng crosswind.. un nga lng medyo mabagal. pero matitibay makina ng mga crosswind and sobra fuel efficient..

Hi Guys,

I got an Isuzu Crosswind xuvi 2005, just recently I encountered this problem when you shift gear to reverse (ofcourse in fullstop) may griding sound and hirap ipasok sa reverse. Ano kaya problem nito, kinakabahan ako baka masira transmission ko.

Hope some can tell me what the problem is.

Gud Day. Wuth regards to your problem, my experience is hindi lang sa reverse mahirap ipasok clutch, even in 1st 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Pinatingnan ko sa mekaniko, ini-adjust yung clutch. (i dont know yung adjustment na ginawa) Kaso, matigas tapakan after the adjustment. So tiningnan yung primary and secondary clutch. Nakita nung mekaniko na may leak yung secondary clutch kaya pinalitan yung secondary clutch assembly. Sabi sakin, kung konti lang leak, secondary clutch repair kit ang papalitan, pero yung sakin ay ang kailangan ay buong assembly. Ok naman after mapalitan. Yung repair kit ay P350. Yung buong assembly ay P550. Standard naman yun para sa 4JA1 na engine kaya pwedeng hindi na sa kasa bumili....

Sliding na ung clutch ko, according sa mechanic we need to replace the following.

• Pressure Plate
• Clutch Disk
• Release Bearing

any idea how much ung cost nito? thanks.

San din b meron affordble casa pra e maintainance mga XUV ntin mga sir? Gusto q kasing m 100% mcheck kung ano2x p pwede kung mbago at mpalitan sa nabili nming 2nd unit n XUV? At para nrin sa safety ng Family ko, espicially kpag nag out-out of town kami.

Hi po mga ka-XUVi owners! tanong lang po ako sa kabibili ko palang na XUVi sa isa sanang "trusted" buy&sell car dealer sa may fairview, kasi ang nakalagay sa tag nya before ako magdown is 2004 Crosswind XUVi, syempre nagduda ako kasi wala syang back massager so inamin nila na 2003 model sya pero acquired 2004 ito. Pero nung nakuha ko na yung sasakyan and na-release na nila yung xerox ng CR, nakita ko sa date of registration is Aug. 2003, acquired parin ba ito? 1 thing more, kami pa sumagot ng rehistro nito kaya pala kami minadali na bilhin kasi patapos na yung month. nung una sinasabi nila na rehistrado na ito (expected ko rin naman na talagang rehistrado na ito kasi almost end na ng August diba),

one more thing, ilang LITERS ba ng motor oil ang nilalagay sa engine ng 4ja1 turbo? Last wednesday kasi galing ako nang casa dito sa my fairview nag pa change oil ako ng XUV ko, 6 liters yung pinalagay na motor oil. ( i think 4.5 liters lang diba po?) At pag tanngal po ba ng FUEL FILTER ay 'iniikot'(by hand or by tools?) lang pa counter clockwise, then salpakan kulang ng new filter? Walanaman ba akong gagalawin sa 2 mallit na host dun? SORRY sa pagkaignorance ko po sa mga ganito ha!! Gusto ko po kasi matutunan mga ito para less hassle na sa time pag punta ng casa at para makasave narin.
