    not sure kung may nag-post na ng ganitong problem...

    last sunday sa mall parking nung pauwi na kami, ayaw gumana ng alarm remote ng '05 sportivo. ang ginawa ko ay yung nakasulat sa manual na reset button sa left side ng dashboard kaya nakauwi naman kami.

    pero hanggang pag-uwi namin ay ayaw na gumana. kaya bumili ako ng bagong battery kanina (A27 12v), energizer @ 77 pesos sa handyman. gumana naman ng mapalitan ng battery kaya lang ay parang keyless entry na lang. nawala yung chirp sound pag lock/unlock ng door.

    help naman po pano maibalik sa factory setup...

    tia

    @Sir Benz
    Ano ulit yung color ng units mo before na crosswind? I saw one kasi with rota journey's. Kaya iniisip ko kung sayo ba yun.

    @sgotogs
    1) Enter your vehicle and close all doors
    2) Switch your ignition to "ON" position (all gauge lights should light up)
    3) Continuously press (HOLD) the "lock" button of your transmitter until you hear 2 chirps. Release hold on "LOCK" button.
    Reference from Sir Benzmizer.

    Thanks po, sinunod ko naman steps 1 - 3 pero ayaw pa rin tumunog yung alarm, nagbi-blink lang lights. Parang ayaw pa rin mag-exit sa 'keyless mode'. Eto pa po,, yung silent lock at panic button ayaw gumana. Kailangan na kaya ng re-programming ito?

    @xti-No prob! I also learned here at tsikot lang din naman! Yup, I have XTi also. I acquired it last March.

    @sgotogs-Baka kailangan na nga i-reprogram yan. Before naman kasi sa ibang unit ko, nung pinalitan ko ng battery yung remote, normal lang naman. Pero try mo muna tanggalin nalang yung battery tapos after few minutes, ibalik mo yung battery. Baka gumana. Not sure lang ako kung gagana yun.

    Oo nga sir, hindi pala simpleng baklas-kabit.. Pero tiningnan ko mabuti yung gawa ng mga mekaniko para atleast pwede ko na DIY next time.. Not that I'm hoping maputulan ako ulit.. hehe

    Thank you sir!

    di ko na kailangan dalhin sa casa, napagana ko na.
    ganito ginawa ko:
    - start the engine, press the button at the side panel for about 5 seconds
    - while the engine is still running, press and hold the lock button until the chirp sound was heard
    - switch off the engine

    gumagana na lahat ng buttons. natsambahan ...
