Brods, query lang.. may 2011 xuv crosswind kasi si erpat walang chirp sound ang alarm. kahit anong combi ng pindot ko ang remote control sa silent/arm/open ayaw pa rin mag chirp sound. tiningnan ko rin ang manual simple press lang ng silent ang nakalagay pero ayaw pa rin. malakas naman ang batt kasi nag lolock at open using remote control. ano kaya problem? nasa province pa naman ang unit. thanks

Sir i recently encountered a problem regarding the keyless entry remote sensor and module of my 2010 sportivo mt. each unit is provided with two sets of keyless remote and one of which is not functioning normally(remote does not activate the alarm to open/close even with brand new batteries.) So what i did was to consult my dealer about the problem & they sent the remote & module back to manila for check up. after about 2 weeks they returned the unit & it functioned perfectly but after a few days it i had the same problem until now. funny thing when i brought back the unit to my dealer everything was working perfectly so umuwi nlng ako...umabot pa nga sa situation where i parked my car just outside the office & when i cannot activate the remote sensor to open the locks i tried to manually open it by inserting the key & the alarm went on which is really embarrasing as i cannot seem to deactivate the alarm even by pressing the reset button inside. what i did was to leave my car & take the taxi to get the spare set of remote at home.

pero manual ang crosswind ko. hindi po ba ang ATF ay para sa matic transmission lang?

kala namin simpleng palit lang gulong at align dahil sa taas ng kanang part ng sasakyan. ending, nagpalit kami ng inner/outer tire rod end and idler arm ng crosswind dahil un daw ang sira di lang un height. medyo pricey pag orig/casa, kaya ito na lang ang binili namin.

555 inner/outer tire rod end = 1200 set di daw pwedeng hiwalay
idler arm (federal ) = 1800
labor = 800
nexen roadian 2 tires 235/70/15 = 4200 ea x 2 = 8400

di pa na-align naubos na ang pera. lol. baka next week na. di muna gagamitin ang crosswind. T_T . baka masayang ang gulong at sabi dapat within 3 days lang with minimal na gamit. within 30-60kms dapat mapa-align na.

Ganun din yung crosswind ko noon mas mataas yung sa kanan. ito ang epekto ng driver lang lagi sa kaliwa ang sakay ( isip ko lang). ang ginawa ko pina adjust ko na lang yung spring rod ( forgot anong exact na tawag doon ). ayun now

mas mataas ng half inch yung sa kaliwa ko na. ako lang naman madalas gumagamit and no passengers except on weekends. pag sumakay ako pantay na siya due to my weight sa kaliwa. maybe the next alignment papantay ko na.


Saan ka pala nagpagawa or replace ng tie rod? problem ko now yung rear ko kaunti nalang clearance, i mean pag full load

AFAIK ang crosswind uses torsion bars as its spring... adjustable yan.. pwede mo itaas or lowered yung stance nya.. pero dapat adjust ka din ng camber... and tie rods or rack ends pag sira medyo gewang ang takbo tapos may upod sa labas or loob ng tires...

pag idler arm naman may upod din at minsan may wiggle.. pero kung height ang problem adjust lang ng torsion bars..

- na adjust un dati kaya siguro nagka-ganon and di din kase pantay ang gulong namin dati sa harap at likod. front was 205/60/13 and yun likod is 235/70/13. tapos nag start na kumain sa inner part ng gulong. kaya pinalitan ang gulong and dapat i-adjust lang un camber pero nakita na di lang un ang problema. T_T

sa trusted mechanic ko ako nagpapagawa..sa el dorado ako nagpagawa,20th ave. been their customer for 13yrs (first car was a mitsu-colt..hehe) mabilis sila gumawa pag alam nila ang sasakyan mo. give or take 30mins-40mins tapos lahat un pinagawa konag dagdag kami ng leaf spring number 3. matagtag nga lang. baka alisin na lang ulit pero di na tumatama sa rubber bushings sa ilalim kase parang nasa jeep ka pag nasa likod ka. bumpy ride. mostly kase nasa north and south kami minsan dulu-dulo pa,for long distance lang kase ito ginagamit and nasa 7-8 kami when travelling.

pasira na din kase un idler arm as per mechanic. mas magandang mapalitan na ito kaysa mag hintay pa masira within a couple of months. back to basic ulit. labor-camber. mas ok na daw na isahan lang and more years of smooth driving again.

Isuzu gurus....sir benz pa help naman. Bigla na lang namatay stereo ng 08' XUV ko while playing music, pero may power pa rin sya, kasi na eeject ko pa rin CD at naipapasok pero ayaw na nya mag on. namamatay na yong stereo after maipasok CD pero pag ineject ko mailuluwa nya pa rin so ibig sabihin may power pa rin. then, suddenly napansin ko pati yong side mirrors ayaw na gumalaw pag iadjust ko yong switch. Pati yong auto detract ng side mirrors ayaw din gumana. sa ngayon yon pa lang napansin ko na ayaw mag function baka meron pang iba na nadamay. Di ko alam cause pano nangyari to....is there anyone could share to me whats seems to be the problem of my ride. TIA.

ang problema ko po ay pag nasa 4th gear ako at tipong babawasan ko tapak ko sa gas (deccelerate) may bell sound at grinding sound ka maririnig....mawawala lang pag idi-disengage ang kambyo.

bumili un kakilala ko ng sportivo last month dahil nagandahan sya sa FC and engine ng crosswind. nagpunta po sila sa tagaytay- palace in the sky- kasama mga pinsan ko na gamit nila un XUVI-03 namin. all went well sa patag un sportivo pero sa dulo daw po ng palace in the sky nag hang sila sa isang matarik na daan. di na daw umusad un sprotivo. nakapag-overtake naman po ang pinsan ko gamit un sa amin na puno din ng tao. kahit daw naka-primera sya ayaw umakyat nang pinaalis na ang mga tao sa loob ng sprortivo dun lang umusad.

ano po ang possible na sira pag ganito? may naka-experience napo ba sa inyo ng ganito? di pa po kase nag hang or di umusad un sa amin simula noon. ngayon lang din ako naka rinig ng ganitong problema.

You have a different concern brad. Madalas di gumagana ang remote lock/unlock sa areas na malakas ang radio frequencies. Ang problem ko kasi ay walang chirp sound. Kahit nung makuha galing casa wala talaga chirp sound ang lock/unlock. Dami ko na din try na combinations including naka andar engine at long press silent button and other buttons ala pa din chirp sound.

You have a different concern brad. Madalas di gumagana ang remote lock/unlock sa areas na malakas ang radio frequencies. Ang problem ko kasi ay walang chirp sound. Kahit nung makuha galing casa wala talaga chirp sound ang lock/unlock. Dami ko na din try na combinations including naka andar engine at long press silent button and other buttons ala pa din chirp sound.

We have different concerns, you without that CHIRP sound whenever you use the remote and me with a remote that DOES NOT FUNCTION.But I guess it all goes down to DEFECTS on the keyless entry remote sensor/ module. When i had my unit checked at my local dealer there were actually 3 of us who complained about the keyless entry malfunction wherein all were sent back to Manila for check up but the problem persist. I was even thinking about replacing the remote/ module with a new one kaso sayang naman yung warranty. And regarding that area where RADIO FREQEUNCIES have a strong interferrence, i tried using the remote in an open field and at home were there is little or no interferrence but it's still the same. I suggest we try having it checked again by our local dealer or have it replaced nlng...

My 2012 sportivo also did not have d chirp sound when we got it. Although the remote key functions already, you still need to enter into keyless entry mode:

with any door opened and d engine not running, turn d ignition to "on" position. Press and hold the "lock" button for 5 seconds. A long chirp will then sound off and the hazard lights will flash once. This indicates that you have activated d keyless entry mode. Repeat d procedure if you want to exit keyless entry mode.

pag kasi around 80kph hirap siya lumagpas dun minsan parang nag eengine break muna bago lumagpas tapos pag pataas naman nag eengine break din, parang delayed ang shifting nya.

magkano kaya estimated cost for the repair sa ganung problem?

wala akong mahanap sa crosswind threads. but just in case meron nakaalam kung saan pwede i-source or magpa custom-make nang spare tire hanger katulad nung sa Xt, Xti models. would appreciate leads.

balak ko kasing ilipat ang spare tire from rear door to under the body like Xt model. planning to setup bike rack in place of the spare tire.

meron sa casa pero medyo tagal antay. just wanted to check if there are other options. salamat

di ko pa na try palace in the sky. medyo mahina nga crosswind natin. pero sa tingin ko dapat kakayanin nya yan. but first shot: clean/replace filters: fuel+pump at air. sa experience ko pag okay ang mga eto, nakakatulong agad. my two cents.

mga bossing ask ko lng pno po tamang gmit ng 2 and L? that's after D ng kambyo. sportivo po A/T 2010 model ang ride ko. nkalagay po kc s manual ung 2 is 3rd gear same ng L. pno po ba tamang gamit nung dalawa?
