Puwede ding barado yung evaporator, or madumi yung loob ng air vents, kaya nag-ye-yelo na... hmmmm...
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
guys, i was unable to get hold of a manual for my XUV (2nd hand)...anyway my question is per manual, ano po ba ang recommended oil for it? viscousity etc..malapit na pala kasi akong mag change oil.
another one...sa experience nyo ano ang pinaka mahusay na brand within the recommended viscousity? thanks a lot in advance.

No idea about the brand, but a good middle-of-the-road oil would be 15w40.(this is what I usually buy)
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
On my last change oil I did use Shell Helix Super Premium Motor Oil, 20W-50.
So far okay naman siya.
I used to use IGMO, kaso madalas nawawalan ang CASA kaya Shell na rin gamit. ko. 1 gal is ~PHP700.
maraming salamat sa inyong replies peeps...pa change oil ako bukas...since marami akong nabasa sa ibang threads regarding shell helix medyo i'm leaning towards it...salamat uli.
btw, napansin ko minsan hindi gumagana yung remote locking nya...kala ko nga wala ng battery yung remote..had the battery replaced pero sablay parin..so nag check ako maigi..nalaman ko na yung rear door sensor ang minsan nagpe-fail..(rubber covered thingy protruding near the lock) kasi pag diniin ko gumagana yung remote..is it possible to remove and replace/return that rubber boot safely? curious lang ako.
Hmmm... thanks for the tip... I'll have that looked at at the Casa.
Our keyless only works one month out of twelve... it's been that way since it was new.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
same case here, the rear door open/close sensor of my dad's crosswind often gets loose. when he unlocks the car & opens the rear door, the sensor doesnt recognize the door opening, thus the automatic door relock gets triggered. delikado ito kasi baka maiwan/malimutan yung keys sa loob ng car pag nag-auto lock. no matter how he tightens the sensor & its rubber housing, it always gets loose. dapat ata pumasyal sa isuzu to get some sort of replacement for that sensor.

Just to remind you that isuzu pasig is not customer service oriented small things like slow ang response. mag replace lang ng radio antena hindi magawa agad.
TIA!
napansin mo rin ha...i had the same experience with pasig...tapos naka lagay pa yata sa website nila may award daw as best customer ek ek yata hehehe!... pero yung sa akin hindi small thing..i remember paying around 25k for a lousy job...i posted my experience somewhere more than a year ago.
kaya nga kung kaya ko ako na lang gagawa...btw, re:door sensor..may one screw sa ilalim and its quite easy to remove pala...sinubukan ko lang tangalin..hiram lang muna ako sa kuya ko ng contact cleaner baka sakaling linis lang.
