With those different emblems from Volkswagen, Hyundai & Kia and one more company, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Chevrolet or Holden and Ford they generally meant only CRDi (common-rail direct injection). The term common-rail in today's diesel engines already denotes "diesel".

However, most of the time, like when they all first came out, they are all non-VGT wastegate turbocharged only CRDi with the exception of Toyota 3.0 D-4D engine (since it came out in 2001, it already uses VNT), the Chevrolet or Holden 2.2 VCDi that we see in the old Captiva, and the old Hyundai Accent 1.5 CRDi engine, to name a few. Some, yet again, are only commom-rail non-VGT wastegate turbocharged and non-intercooled at the same time, like the previous 2.5 D-4D on the Toyota Hilux and Fortuner and on the past and present Innova 2.5 D-4D.

In these times in the Philippine market, there are only two car brands from the above-mentioned that use emblems loud enough to signify that they are equipped as such.... You'd see R-eVGT on the Kia and Hyundai and the glowing red V on the Mitsubishi hehe.... The rest, they'd stick with their old emblems regardless of having the VGT incorporated into their common-rail engines

The Philippines-version Navara uses only a simple LE emblem but its engine had always been VGT-equipped. The Philippine-issue D-max, on the other hand, changes from 3.0 TD Intercooler on the previous way older D-max, then 3.0 Ddi-iTEQ on just the recent past, and now back again to 3.0 TD Intercooler. The engine though, is still the same, unlike those ones offered overseas but not amongst Southeast Asians, except the Thais.

    Cheers!

Paps, Trailblazer naman kasi talaga yun. If that's what he is pertaining.

Btw, there's already a teaser video of the upcoming Alterra. I like it better than the Trailblazer.

Open Google images, then type, exactly, "Isuzu MU-X".

Variations of typing this produces different results.

    Ciao!

Kumbaga GOODLUCK sa ating mga Pinoys, or even perhaps, only in our dreams na ibibigay yan maging ang bagong makina....

Baka ilang years pa yan bago dumating tapos lumang makina nanaman.

In fairness, nong nagpunta kami ng Tagaytay nong Sunday lang, 4 na New DMax ang nakita ko sa daan.
3 naksabay ko sa SLEX then isa naka park sa Sky Ranch. Wala pang mga plaka.

variable geometry turbo, to replace... around 100-200k pesos.

Regular turbo (like a WRX turbo) around 50k pesos lang.

Chances of variable geometry turbo failing versus regular turbo... errh... kinda higher.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
