Hmmm, interesting teaser.... .... and it seemed "shorter"....... which means it's more proportional!

November 12th, 2011 04:38 PM #7My crystal ball tells me that the Isuzu Dmax and Alterra will continue to slightly improve/change every year for the next few years, stifled somewhat by the Japan and Thailand calamities and the fact that Isuzu is more of a large vehicle manufacturer (pickups, mid-size and large trucks, buses, industrial engines) than of personal transportation cars.
Isuzu caters to a different market than General Motors.
The Trailblazer/Colorado, which is the smaller brother of the Chevrolet Suburban/full size pick-up will be built and sold by the Chevrolet division of General Motors.
I really do not expect both (Isuzu and Chevrolet) to be in the same showroom.
Ciao!
Uncle Nick.

This version (based in the above pictures) will definitely sell better than the current one. Looks and modern engine is very appealing.

November 16th, 2011 08:15 PM #9GM has already introduced the Trailblazer and has started selling the Colorado as well. What is going on with Isuzu? Don't they have any sort of competitive spirit at all?

Gentlemen,
We all have to remember that General Motors and Isuzu Motors have differentiated themselves already.... And they will further on differentiate from each other in the years to come....
The 2012 MU-7 SUV will have the same engine and platform as the all-new 2012 Isuzu RT-50 pickup (180 ps, 380 Nm peak torque).... GM's Chevrolet Trailblazer, on the other hand, will share the same engine plugged into the all-new 2012 Colorado. This engine was developed by VM Motori of Italy, NOT Isuzu Motors. It is a 4-cylinder 2.8-litre CRDi engine, also equipped with a VGT, pumping around >180 ps but producing way higher pulling-force of around 450 Nm or 470 Nm of peak torque almost just as similar as the all-new 3.2-litre Ford Ranger's peak torque of 470 Nm....
Only one thing is for sure ---- since the GM and Isuzu covenant is over now, this Trailblazer will be offered here in Philippines at free will; no more Isuzu controling factor.... And thanks for it, the Isuzu factor is over now that GM can move forward freely to the Philippine-market, also offering their best products! ;)
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
