Haha so funny how some are so touchy about California Scents new car smell. :-) It's not genuine, because it's a scent, and it works for me. So I'm happy. Sana mahanap nyo rin ang new car smell scent that will satisfy you guys. In the meantime, I'm enjoying. Thanks also for bringing up the baking soda suggestion again. I'll also put some in the car as a preventive for bad odors.

Ako, I don't use car freshener for the first 1-1.5 yrs or up to 2 yrs from the time I bought the car, it will still smells like brand new hanggan ganyan duration.

Sir bat ang mura naman niyan
yung nabili ko 199 pesos presyo sa blade sa ilalim nilalagay di naman gumana at baking soda talaga best choice.
Parang bumabaho pag 1week na kakumot yung kotse nasismot nyaa yung amoy ng kumot?

mahal ata talaga sa blade.
kinakalog ko yung bag ng uling sa kotse kapag naglilinis para mahalo yung laman effective naman pero bumibili na ulit ako ng kapalit after 2 months. 2 bags nga pala yung gamit ko isa sa ilalim ng driver's seat tapos yung isa sa 3rd row seat.

we don't use car freshener. i put Bamboo Charcoal bag for neutralizing any odor. bought from Japan Home. the car does not smell new but it does not smell old either, which is just what we want.

baking soda will do. minsan kumain kasi sa car ko, so amoy burger/fries etc until the next day. so i put baking soda dun sa ashtray na plastic (parang cup na may lid). half day lang sa parking area nawala amoy. pati yung amoy nung air freshener ko nawala din haha.

since then yun nalang lagi, baking soda=stock car scent. minsan pag nadadaan sa car shops saka lang ako bumibili ng air freshener but not regularly.

Dami talaga gamit baking soda. Ginamit ko kanina sa Aso ko as dry bath dahil nakakatamad paliguan, nawala Amoy. Hahaha

cigarette smoke is very difficult to eradicate. it seeps deep into the upholstery.. everytime someone sits on the seat, some smoke odor is forced out of the upholstery, into the car's cabin..
try activated charcoal..

Yeah. The smell sticks to the fabric esp if the owner is a heavy smoker and has been using tha car for a long time. Kaya I never let anyone smoke in my car.

Marami gumagamit ng Baking Soda pang tanggal ng bad odor. Pwede mo budburan ng Baking Soda lahat ng possible na amoy cigarette. Let it sit for a day or two then vacuum mo na yung powder.

Repeat if necessary hanggang mawala yung amoy. Mahirap kung pati yung headliner eh amoy sigarilyo . . . di naman pedeng itaob yung auto para budburan yung headliner .

Pwede spray mo na lang ng Febreeze . . . stay for more than 24 hours. Tapos vacuum to remove residue.

Then again repeat if necessary.
