Too expensive. Doesn't last for 10,000km.

Tsaka Helix is made for gas engines. Kahit may naka lagay na diesel dyan.

    Motul will do better.

    ah talaga?

anong motul you are referring to sir? what model and can I bring this to Hyundai Pasig?

How about yung Shell synthetic nila sir?

Don't be confused 2 klase na Shell Ultra. the older Ultra 5W40 for gas engines na gamit din ng ibang Mitsu Casa for Monty. Then ito nga yung bago na specifically for diesel.

I use Shell Helix Plus Diesel for my Fortuner 3.0 and Strada 3.2. I still change oil every 5000 kms though. Ok naman. I feel it's better than ordinary oil because it's semi-synth.

Boss, walang connection ang fuel system sa motor oil being used. Even mineral oil within specified viscosity can be use whether common rail (high pressure) or N/A. The most important is you follow the recommended intervals - the earlier the better. Mineral, Semi-syn or Fully syn will do.

For the Common rail system to perform at its best is to use the cleanest diesel available.

Cannot agree more on this... mostly nowadays are pure hype na lang ng consumer and siempre manufacturers.

Semi synthetic Helix Diesel Plus is good for 5000 kms or less and Fully synthetic Helix Diesel Ultra can go for 10,000 kms or less (with oil filter change in between).

It's your call to try which fit your liking when it comes to engine response.
