Hello po mga master, I'm planning to buy this van yung 12 seaters sana. Pero I'm not familiar with its model/variant. Like tci, VGT etc. Good ba ang Automatic transmission nito? current unit ko ngayon is 2012 Suzuki APV pero bitin ako sa 8 seaters.

    Thanks.

If it is VGT automatic, it is 5-speed...

If it is TCi automatic, it is 4-speed....

I recommend the former (though I own the latter variant)...

Good matching of the transmission to the engine, IMO. Much better driving experience vs. the old model (bug-eyed), which I used to have.

Suzuki APV is severely underpowered, though very practical and cute. I have driven one recently over a short distance, as my in-laws own one. Also, it is gasoline.

You will be amazed by the power of the GS. Simply surreal.

Go for it! If you're always on a full load, go for the CRDi VGT version. Although CVT's with his mod might make you think twice and go for the TCi version.

Having driven a CRDI VGT A/T and a TCI M/T, I'd say na bitin nga ang power ng TCI, again I'm not sure kung mabagal nga talaga yung TCI o sanay lang ako sa CRDI VGT. Last Nov.1 I took the TCI to Tagaytay, what I can say is hirap ako in some overtaking situation unlike pag yung CVX ko ang dala ko basta bigyan mo lang yung accelerator siguradong bibigyan ka rin which makes overtaking effortless in the CRDI models.

Or, in addition to that, test drive CVT's TCi unit. Hehehe!

Hyundai Grand Starex Gold 2010 AT CRDi 998k, any suggestion, recommendation, reaction? May mga 2012 din na ganyan ako nakikita same price. Since eto 2010 kaya medyo alanganin ako.
