    Yung 2012 na fortuner 2nd qtr nakuha nya. So hindi pa siya yng VNT. nag ingay ang makina, sabi ng toyota turbo assembly daw. Pinalitan naman. Kaso as of now may humming sound.

    I hope this helps. :toast: My sister's 2011 1.4L Accent A/T issues were recently solved by a complete replacement of the CVVT system by HARI. She also went through the whole charade of ECU software updates, advice of only using only Shell 97 octane gas, etc... with still the presence of engine knocks, high rpm upshifts, poor engine performance and poor fuel economy. :ill:

    There will always be something wrong with whatever brand you get. As for me, I would rather buy from a car manufacturer that has a plant or assembling facility in the country. For one, they would have a better inventory of parts. Another factor is the choice of dealership. If you can make friends with the service crew, it would help a lot as they can make wonders once you know them personally.

    well, tama ka naman na all brands have their stories pagdating sa mga product nila. PERO, ang issue dito e yung HARI, on how they deal esp. sa warranty claims.

    Or Buy a MAZDA! YOJIN3, 3 years of peace of mind. Free change oil. oil filters, air filters at kung anu-ano pa. I was also looking as a Hyundai before, pero dahil sa mga WORST aftersales service na nababasa ko kung saan-saang forums eh huwag na lang..!

    Same here I bought my bnew 2011 hyundai tucson and multiple defects happened, engine knocking vehicle stalling, jerking, they replaced the transmission , ecu, gas tank and many more others but still more defects arise after each repair, I already filed a case on them on Dti but im still waiting for the results. . people must know how horrible HARI is

    Guys share ko lang din yung horrible experience ko sa hyundai shaw, And now I'm convinced na wala talagang kwenta ang hyundai for both their cars and after sales service nila. I bought my accent 4 yrs ago at Hyundai e rod, my first 6 months na experience ko rin ang engine knocking na sobrang lakas at sa sobrang takot ko dinala ko na agad sya sa hyundai erod but when I arrived sa casa nawala na rin sya bigla. Ang sabi lang ng service advisor bka sa gas ko na unleaded and mag pa change nlang ako sa premium at naniwala nman ako den fast forward 4 years after until last week august 13, 2015 pag ka uwi ko galing ofis bumalik ang engine knocking. So inisip ko hindi na to gas den nag decide na ako mag pa PMS kc at the same time due na rin sya. Dinala ko sya sa shaw dahil sila lang hindi puno at tumatanggap ng walk in. Pag kasabi ko sa service advisor may engine knocking sya na nkaka irita tlga ang tunog, ang sabi nman nya mawawala nman yan sir after natin ma pms sya. So naniwala nman ako so after malabas ang car around 7 pm andun pa rin ang knocking nya. Ang sabi lang nya sir nag aauto adjust kc ang valve nya obserbahan po natin ng mga ilang araw pag hindi nawala ibalik po natin. So dumaan ang sat, sun, mon di pa rin sya nawala until yesterday habang dala ko sya along kamuning bigla nlang may malakas na tunog sa engine ko den pinatay ko agad ang makina pag ka tingin ko sa labas wala na sumuka na ng langis. So pinahatak ko sya sa taxi hanggang hyundai shaw kc sila nman ang last nag pms. So tinignan nila ni lifter,Una nilang theory na center island ako kc yung pag ka biak ng block kasya isang kaha ng yosi at kita mo na ang rod. Nung nakita nila na wala nmang sign na nabangga nga ako at sinabi ko yung scenario ko na nag pa pms ako den sabi auto adjust nman raw pag ka check nila sa system di raw ako nag complain na may knocking. Hello! What the heck! Sila nga nag sabi na mag aauto adjust sya at tatahimik sya after ma pms at hanggang bago ako umalis nag usap pa kami ng service advisor which VL sya by that time. Tapos na trace nila sa pass book ko na nka 4 missed na ako na tig 5k diff na pms. Dun nila ako binalikan na void na raw ang waranty na kahit umabot raw sa husgado at paglalaban nya raw mga tao nya. Ang sa akin lang di ako nkikipag away at nag rereport ako in good faith pero sa knila ang dating hugas kamay agad sila. Cge andun na tau sa na missed ko ang last 4 pms, pero never ako na missed sa pa change oil using ang filter and oil pa rin nila. Dahil din sa mahal ng pms nila na mahina 7k kada 5k km run. Bago ako mag brand new galing rin ako sa 2nd hand car na toyota and mitsubishi at almost tig more than 10 yrs old na sila pero never ko na experience ang engine knocking. Sobrang dismayado ako sa Hyundai, may mali rin ako sa side ko dahil puro verbal lang kami, 2nd mali rin nila dahil hinayaan nila mkalabas na ganyan ang ingay which yun ang lagi nilang tinatanggi na ang narinig nila valve lang na maingay at hindi knocking. Sobra ako dismayado tlga at mukang wala na rin pag asa ang block ko kc na biak sya mula sa oil filter.
