IMO, it is. The width difference is around less than 9 inches. I did try the Fe's third row seats and it is indeed a little bit cramped.

My husband and i are having the same dilemma ... will it be the Fortuner or the Santa Fe? I am really more inclined to get the Santa Fe bec of the reviews from this forum ... but my husband insists that the Fortuner will be a better buy in the long run for the high availability of accessories and after sales parts.

Question lang po, pareho ba ng CRDi engine ang Santa Fe and Starex? We were super amazed with the speed of a Starex on NLEX last Sat. We were running 130 already on our Crosswind pero grabe bilis ng Starex, overtaking pa sya and it seemed very stable. Samantalang kami, sagad na sagad na pedal.

Yikes. That's what I like about the Fortuner. It looks and feels imposing to be in. Can the same be said about the Fe?

just got our Sta. Fe last weekend. Titanium Blue color CRDi model.

    my initial observations:
    - very responsive.
    - drives and rides like an elevated car yun CRDi.
    - it has a cool box on the mid-console supposedly for cooling drinks hehehe, but I dont understand how it works pa or how it cools ...
    - we test drove both Fortuner D4D and Sta. Fe. the Sta. Fe rides better. easier to drive too, napakalambot ng steering even though it's a diesel.
    - more luxurious interior like every console, compartment, coin box has felt paper in it hehehe. most console boxes slide, not snap.
    - compared to my dad's ford explorer EB gasoline, this Sta. Fe rides lighter.
    - this is our 2nd Hyundai (1st was Hyundai Getz CRDi) and I must say we are extremely satisfied with Hyundai again!

best thing of all: value for money again. mid-luxury suv at 1M less than other mid suv's. to sta. fe owners, magkano nyo nakuha sa inyo? we got it at 1,518,000. discounted price na of course.

Similar size but different market. The Santa Fe is a crossover SUV.
Of course in the RP, there's little diffrence since all of them spend 99% of their time on the roads.

hmmm... rear stylying seems a bit awkward in some angles... reminds me of the Hyundai Elantra.

the front fascia does look nice... though the Captiva looks cleaner.

I hope that they price it at P1.3M!

Very nice! Wala bang interior pics?

I think the rear looks a lot more sportier than the Fortuner's. Though, it does seem to be missing a rear spoiler. Just look at those two exhaust pipes. The rear bumper even has a cargo guard (which is missing in the Fortuner). That should keep you from scratching up your bumper when loading your golf bags.

    to all SF owners,

i would like to ask kunf meron kayo problem sa engine gaya ng injectors, ? and how about yun transmission, meron din ba nag ka poblema? sa mga brakes meron din ba?

i need your advice please. mas ok ba yun 4x4 na SF. ? meron na kme 3.2 strada, sa engine wala naman poblema kaso yun reveolution niya parang late siya bumaba pag binitiwan mo yun accelerator, pero ok naman mabilis naman , it can run 190km/hr.

    thanks

chevy is not a good choice dahil bukod sa mahirap maghanap ng parts napakamahal pa at sa kasa lang available ang karamihan with a very very high price.
