20k nalang malaya ka na sir sa warranty. hehe. ako I ditched the casa during my last PMS (30k). I saved more than half. Figured I will just save the amount in case something breaks.

I will have my EGR cleaned anytime soon. The mechanic explained that when the EGR gets blocked, the car will feel sluggish & he normally recommends it cleaned every 40k.

Nobody here has done an EGR blanking/blocking mod on their accent?

Mas madalas PMS ng diesel evrery 5k kms as against gasoline engines usually every 10k kms.

If high mileage user ka better buy diesel if not, gasoline ka na lang.

Nag inquire ako about this. Casa will charge around additional 3,500 to clean the EGR. I was disappointed na hindi pala siya kasama sa regular heavy PMS (40k and 80k). When I asked dun sa mechanic ko sa labas, 1,100 lang singil nila - clean EGR, pull down and clean intercooler and intake piping. I also plan to have my EGR cleaned when I reach 40k.

Yeah if moderate to heavy user ka (around 20k+ km a year), get diesel. But be prepared to spend more on PMS if you have it done sa casa.

Patay agad makina after humataw. Pag bibigyan mo ng used oil, tuwang tuwa, ilalagay sa taxi nila. And etc. Mas kailangan ng TLC ang diesel

cuats. Yun nga. Kung mahaba ang lakad lagi go on diesel. Pag short ride go on gasoline.... may up side and downside ang gasoline and diesel.

It is labeled as fully synthetic pero since mura, kahit palitan every 5k - still affordable.
    Sirs,

where do you buy your Zic oils and lubricants? Please provide location/address if possible. Is the Mr. Liempo source near araneta ave credible (original zic products)?

I am also itching to do this on my new accent. it was very easy and painless to do on the Navara DIY lang. One side lang ng EGR tube tinakpan ko using stainless plate which I cut myself using the EGR tube gasket, solved na. maybe it is more difficult sa accent kasi masikip ang engine bay.

The Hyundai Casa should include EGR cleaning as part of PMS. It is a known fact that after some time, the EGR gets so dirty it causes problems.

Yup agree.

Kung Gasoline engine lang din, I'd get the Ford Fiesta 1.0 Turbo model. same amount of money as Accent hatch 7DCT.

Bro, you misunderstood my statement. I said IF gasoline engine na lang din ang kukunin ko, I will buy the Fiesta 1.0 turbo for the same money as accent hatch. I actually just bought accent hatch 7DCT precisely because its diesel..
