I think pwedeng both sides coz tagusan naman. I've always come from the Edsa side since I'm from the Ortigas area.

Out of curiosity, does the casa always remove your wheels (i.e. to supposedly do some cleaning on brakes, etc.) at every check up?

    Every 10,000km interval.

Pero they always lift the car.

Based sa HARI website (Hyundai Philippines PMS), from 10,000 kms and onwards, casa will clean/adjust the front and rear brake components of 2010 and onwards na Tucson

i asked a casa about 30t kms PMS and in addition to the usual change oil, oil filter, and air filter, they have to put window washer dressing, and clean the brakes. i've called 4 CASAs and only two would allow the owner to bring the oil and filters but with corkage. the others insisted the use of HGMO and filters otherwise ma void warranty. i think that HARI has extended the warranty of all hyundai cars to 5 years because the high cost of maintenance/PMS for Hyundai cars will fully make up/pay up whatever claim the owners will have from them. I have been a Honda and Nissan Owner previous to my Santa Fe and the maintenance/PMS cost of Honda and Nissan are way less expensive than Hyundai.

Ok fair warning. May i suggest you loosen then retighten your wheel bolts while you're not in a rush/ not in a dangerous place with a flat?

    Why?

Well, i had just gone back to Freddie's to have my 18s installed. Lo and behold saksakan ng tigas. And this is a complaint by experienced guys with a reinforced cross wrench and an extension pipe. WTF! What if i were the one in the middle of nowhere with just the supplied stock wrench?!

Anyhow, no thanks to the impact drill happy folks at Hyundai CE, one of my studs broke when my bolts were loosened. A case of too tight? Perhaps. Or a case of forcible installation. Possible.

Damn! And to think the SA at Hyundai CE gave me a runaround when i first visited them. Kesyo iba daw ang bolt nun isang rim kaya di nila maalis. Tapos baka daw kung pilitin, mabali wala silang kapalit.

I trust the guys at Freddie's to not have overtorqued the damn nut. Plus i was there when they did it. They would've warned me. Something fishy happened behind plain sight in Hyundai CE.

I remember iyong dati kong kasama sa trabaho na nabali niya ang kanyang bolt, using his wrench. He thought that he was removing the bolt (while at the same time, cursing the person who put that in place/tightened it),- but in fact, he was actually tightening it...

Naputol yesterday when inalis sa Freddie's.

I think what had happened was ginamitan ng impact wrench/drill plus hinigpitan pa. Yun.
