I just had my 75K PMS at Hyundai Las Pinas. Full oil change using 5 lits FS oil, engine flush, changed oil filter, changed air filter element, cleaned a/c filter, miscellaneous charges cost P7,300.

Had my 95k pms. The usual.

We removed the rear shocks for checks. 2 bolts on each shock and they were fine.

Muffler had some issues. SA and mechanic changed the muffler in 5 minutes. Warranty replacement. If out of warranty its around 30k converted.

The stabilizer bushing was bad. Hopefully tomorrow it(whole stabilzer bar) arrives. Bad roads here.

Kudos to my hyundai crew 😊

Sounds about right. Check for optional things that you can remove para bumaba pa (like engine treatment, fuel treatment, etc)

So I ditched casa service (along with my so called "warranty") and took my car outside to a Bosch service center for my 30k PMS (2014 Accent crdi Hatch MT).

    Here's the breakdown of cost:
Zic X7 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil (6L jug) - 1,490.00
OEM Oil Filter (from Goodgear) - 290.00
OEM Air Filter (from Goodgear) - 290.00
    Labor - 250.00

    Total = 2320.00

    Vs Casa

    HGMO 6L = 4068.00
    OEM Oil Filter - 670.00
    OEM Air Filter - 780.00
    Drain plug washer - 40
    Labor - 1478.00
    Misc - 300

    Total 7336.00
less One Hyundai Discount - 296.8
    Net - 7039.20

    Savings - 4719.20

At this rate, I will be able to have enough savings to replace even my turbo charger should it go kaput before the warranty expires.

Brad technique with after-sales is having good relationship with your service adviser Aka SA.

Not sure kung accessible ang service bays but thats one thing to keep in mind. Better kasi kung makita mo aginagawa ng mechanic.

Laking gastos pag babayaran mo lahat ng nasa quote

Read your owners manual kung ano dapat sa 5k 10k etc.

    1k. Minimal charges lng dapat..

Pag fully synthetic oil every 10k dapat oil change.

Hi, need your advice. Just got my accent sedan, nagpa.quote na rin ako for the 1k pms. This is what is written:

    PMS CHECK-UP:
    Change oil &oil filter
    Inspect/ adjust drive belts tension
    Inspect all fluids level
    Inspect all electrical system
Inspect / clean battery & test charging system
    Inspect/adjust tire pressure
    Adjust valve clearance
    Lubricate all door hinges
    Bolt tightening
    Body wash and vacuum

    PARTS & LABOR RATE
    Labor - free

Engine oil semi synthetic - 2310
    Oil filter - 725
    Total = 3035

    Or

Engile oil fully synthetic - 4290
    Oil filter - 725
    Total = 5015

I asked if i can bring my own oil, they said labor would not be free and the labor fee is 1108.80.

Which items are okay to exclude? Would it be best if i bring my own oil and pay the labor fee?. TIA!

    labor-free

    Fully syn engine oil 6L - 4290

I also asked if i can bring my own oil, they told me labor would not be free and will have a charge of 1109. Any items that can be excluded? Would it be best if i bring my own oil and pay the labor? What are your recommended engine oil? I am from the province so i hope the oil would be easy to find here. TIA!

If you frequent Quezon City, meetup with Rome and get Zic fully synthetic. AFAIK it only costs 800 for a 4 liter jug. Then just pay for the labor. Do they allow you to bring materials? OEM oil filter from goodgear only costs 290 pesos.

Goodgear ships items through LBC. Give them a call or text at: 0928-524-1198(Smart) 0917-510-4368 (Globe) 0923-717-9722 (Sun). I transact with their staff Eric. Okay siya kausap. They have OEM parts. Maybe they can even ship you oil.

If your oil is fully synthetic, go ahead and skip the 5k oil change but not the 5k PMS meaning you still need to replace your oil filter. But recently I got into the habit of just using semi synthetic oil (Zic X7) with the correct viscosity and change every 5k kms. It just doesn't feel right replacing your oil filter but not changing the oil.
