I got my Getz last Saturday and I'm quite satisfied with it. I got a lilac blue. While the interior is a bit of a drab, I started to get used to it! The performance of the 1.1 engine is adequate for city use. I also tested it in NLEX and its quite stable. I've already travelled about 130 km and the gas tank hasn't reached 3/4.

Now, I'm thinking of changing my tires. So what do you think guys/gals? Should I put in 14" or 15" rims?

I checked this website getzclub.com and its possible na lagyan ng 16 yung Getz. Some have even shod 17s.

What freebies or discounts can you get from Hyundai for the Getz?

The only freebie that I got is a cheap floor mat! Sa interior, malaki ng konti ang jazz and the quality is a notch lower than the jazz. But at 419k, you get power windows and a JVC in-dash CD player! While in terms of styling and performance, I think Jazz is a better car. But pricewise and practicality, sa Getz na ako!

If you decide to change tires and rims (which i would do actually since the 13's are quite skinny), 14's would actually do ok (baka kasya yung galing sa Matrix) since it's a small car and you just want a better profile and more traction.

Bahala na. Mojo has a point. If I'm going to replace my tires to 14s, it'll set me back at least 16k! Medyo masakit sa bulsa! In addition I could use that amount to set-up its audio system and install central locks. While the hu is okay na, the speakers are terrible! Nakakasakit sa tenga!

Its 1.1l gas engine. Yung mga diesel variants abroad, I think their 1.5l ata.

AFAIK the Jazz has more legroom in the rear seats. But for the price the Getz is good value for money.

Saw a gray one the other day, wala pang plaka, kaso likod lang yung nasilip ko. Napagkamalan ko pang variant ng Picanto kasi iba yung taillights.

OT: Nakabili ka ng Hyundai Getz at isang araw may nagtanong kung sa iyo yung oto, sasabihin ba niya, "Pare, Getz mo?". (ang corny!)

IMHO, mas maganda design ng Picanto. For 420K, ipon na lang ng konti and get vios or sentra. Pero kung fuel consumption over performance, then Getz is the winner.

lugi negosyo.. parang binabawi rin nila sa interest yung low price.

i wonder ilan interest ng jazz for typical 2years
