hi!
can any one help me find a second hand 1.6L DOHC Engine (Make: Mitsubishi) for hyundai elantra 1995 sedan
thanks
Mga bosing, i bought a second hand 2007 hyundai starex crdi with automatic transmission, 19K mileage lang ng mabili ko and had it 20K regular checkup at hyundai dealer (kahit wlang pang 20K just for the sake of peace of mind). Ang tanong ko po...normal lang ba na 4.5-5km/liter ang consumption nya for city driving? Any replies, tips and comments will be highly appreciated.
* T3D - Di nga ako makapaniwala bro, nasanay ksi ko sa unang car ko na 1995 nissan sentra that consumes 7-8km/liter and been using it for 5yrs now. The starex is my second car and first time to use crdi and automatic vehicle. Before i bought it nagtanong-tanong muna ko re sa FC with the same model.... positive nman lahat ng feedbacks na nakuha ko....kya ng ginamit ko na di ako makapaniwala n ganun kalakas FC nya.. 66km pa nman layo ng house namin sa workplace ko.
2009 getz 1.1 ,manual- 10 km/l- low
14 km/l- hi
mostly city driving with ac running
fuel:shell unleaded
we're in the same boat bro, i have an 05 starex crdi a/t and it also consumes 5km/l city driving. but i suspect that this is due to my daily route which is our traffic ridden city streets. no matter how light my foot is talagang 5km/l lang, surprisingly pag binabanatan ko yung gas pedal i also get the same consumption.
but when i took it out of town for the first time sa bicol, i manage to average a respectable 8.5km/l on mixed highway and city driving with lots of stopovers with the engine idling pa. city driving is really killing our fuel consumption, moreso if mas maiksi ang routes mo like mine (6km only balikan).
Ride: Hyundai Tucson
Year: 2009
Displacement: 2.0L CVVT
Engine Transmission: Manual
Fuel Consumption:
-Mixed: 10.35 kpl
i think that figure is already very good considering the vehicle is still in its break-in stage. although the figure can not be considered accurate already, i just hope that the fuel consumption will improve much more or better yet maintain in the long run.![]()
Buti na lang nakakita din ako sir ng Manual na Tucson dito... most of the owners are Automatic version owners eh.
Im planning to purchase a 2010 Tucson pero ang decisive factor sa akin ay ang fuel consumption... ano po ba talaga ang difference ng fuel consumption ng Tucson Manual and Tucson Automatic.
Hope someone can help me out sirs.
i think the automatic will differ from 1 to 2 kpl (kms per liter) against a manual transmission tucson. so if a manual gets 10kpl, an automatic would probably get 8 to 9kpl.![]()
No problem. Anytime!
Mas fuel efficient talaga ang Manual over the Automatic Transmission. Yan din ang main reason ko why I chose Manual. Good luck on your purchase!![]()

Ride: Genesis coupe
Year: 2010
displacement: 2.0 turbo
Engine/Trans: Gas/6spd manual
Fuel consumption: 14.5li/100km = 6.9km/li city (petron super unleaded e10)
13.5li/100km = 7.4km/li city (petron Blaze pure gasoline)
10.2li/100km = 9.8km/li mla-baguio-mla (petron blaze)
Any othe genesis coupe 2.0t owners out there? Hindi ba parang mababa ang mileage for a two liter?
I guess Sir ok narin yung highway mileage with high speed driving
